Conditional formatting - make a cell white based on another cell's specific text "EXW"
Hello, I could use some help regarding my sheet and would appreciate very much if someone could help me. I have the need that every time in for example H3 it says EXW or FCA then I would like F...
Select F3, or a range in column F starting in F3.
On the Home tab of the ribbon, click Conditional Formatting > New Rule...
Select 'Use a formula to determine which cells to format'.
Enter the formula
=OR(H3="EXW", H3="FCA")
Click Format...
Activate the Fill tab.
Select 'No Color.'
Click OK, then click OK again.

It works well, but if I delete EXW or FCA, the cells in column F will not go back as they were before.
Is there a fix to this?

If you apply a fill color directly to F3 and down, that fill color should return when you clear a cell in column F, or enter a different value than EXW or FCA. I have tested it, and it works correctly,
