You may apply the rule to entire range with some gap, e.g. to A1:F1000

Yeah, mine looks the same but when I insert a new row it doesn't colour.
The way i'm inserting a new row is done through a Macro, could this be why?

Let say you have data in D1:J10. You apply conditional formatting rule to D1:J999. If you add new data in row 11, conditional formatting rule is already applied to it. That works till row #999. If one day you have more data just expand your range within the rule.
