Condensing list with blank cells (formula)

Hi,

Can anyone help with a formula that can be used to analyze a column of data and return a condensed list of the same data in the column but removing the blank cells? The formula must be compatible with merged cells.

Is this possible or am I dreaming?

Any help appreciated.
