Co-edit a pasword protected workbook
Hi,
How can I co-edit a password protected workbook when one of my colleagues has the file opened from a share point library.
We have tried many situations, but all in all the 2nd person that opens the file always fall into read only mode.

- Does it work if you put the file in a sharepoint library to which only you and that 2nd person have access to and then NOT password protect the file?
JKPieterse Yeah, I think that this is the solution. I didn't move the file to a new library yet, but I removed the password from the workbook and this seems to solve the problem. I will see with my colleagues if it is really necessary to restrain the access to certain users only and we will move the file consequently if that is the case.
