Changing page numbers in Excel for Mac 16.53
I produce reports directly from my Excel worksheets and I would like to customize the page numbers for these reports. Excels lets you change the first page numbers in Page Setup, but when it comes to actually printing, both to a printer and, more importantly to PDF, the page numbering always reverts back to "1".
Any suggestions for fixing or getting around this issue?
I have tried opening the Excel files with Excel online and the page numbering works, but this version of Excel does not let me group multiple tabs for printing, which creates even more work to get the page numbers correct.
Thank you!

I will tell you how I handle page numbers in PDF files: I use PDF Expert, which is available from the App Store on your Mac. Print your excel files without page numbers, and then use PDF Expert to paginate. You can do sections independently, the whole file...and can undo and start over.
