Cell names in formulae
I wrote my formulae first and then I defined the names of cells that are the inputs to the formulae.
Can I get Excel to just replace all the cell references with cell names in all the formulae without having to re-write each formula?
- You could use Find/Replace to update the formulas.
- Thank you. Conceptually that's correct and may be faster than doing them formula by formula. Its still a lot to slog through. I'm just surprised there isn't a global control for this, "Apply cell names"....
I guess I should have worked in the way MS thought I would. Instead I took an old Excel file and am trying to smarten it up and check it more easily
