Can conditional formatting be applied to a 3D reference?

I have a workbook with 20+ worksheets. I need to apply conditional formatting to two columns on 17 (same layout) worksheets. Can I create conditional formatting and have it apply to a 3d reference without having to apply to each individual worksheet?

You have to create the rule(s) for each sheet separately, one rule cannot apply to multiple sheets. It can refer to multiple sheets though.
