Best way to get rolling 12-month totals
Can I start by thanking everyone who has tried to help.
I am still looking for a workable solution. Either I am not explain myself clearly or I'm not understand the proposed solutions.
My extensively filtered pivotable works perfectly. It has 12-columns, Oct-24 - Sep-25 and Grand Total column is correct. I can change the filters for different scenarios to get different totals.
If I change the timeline to Sep-24 - Aug-25 I get Grand Totals for the period.
Everything above works perfectly.
So my original question is 'Can I get 12-month rolling totals in a pivotable? I want the rolling totals for each 12-month period ending Oct-24, Nov-24, Dec-24, Jan-25, Feb-25, Mar-25, Apr-25, May-25, Jun-25, Jul-25, Aug-25 & Sep-25?
Thank you for your help.

You would go a long way toward helping us help you by posting a copy of an anonymized version of your actual workbook, containing several years of data. Verbal descriptions are good to a point, pictures are better, but in the case of Excel workbooks, the actual (or a mockup) is far and away the best.

mathetes I've produced this very slimmed down example.
Can you access it https://1drv.ms/f/c/63f5269daec16288/EnLi31YsZAlBqa8tu4pOLYQBlYyUR9kePeoDYsL3Mje5Lw?e=64ahBm
Thank you for your help.

Yes, thank you. We can access it, which will go a long way, as I said, toward getting your answer.
I'll look at it further, but my first impression is that you're making this far more complicated than it needs to be.
My guess is that a couple of the others who've already offered more sophisticated suggestions than mine will now be able to see this example and jump in.
