Automatic converting decimals to thousands

Question

Hi,&nbsp;When I'm working in Excel it keeps changing my long decimal number to thousands.&nbsp;E.g. if I type 1.0835 it writes 10835 instead. Does anyone have a fix for that particular issue?&nbsp;Kind Regards&nbsp;

Is this really about Excel on mobile? If so: do you use comma as decimal separator on that device? If that is the case, enter 1,0835

HansVogelaarNo, you can disregard the Mobile tag.I use full stop ¨.¨ as the decimal separator&nbsp;

Select File &gt; Options.
Select Advanced.
In the Editing section, clear the check box 'Automatically insert a decimal point'.
Click OK.
