Is it the same if instead of Analyze in Excel you use in new Excel workbook Data->Get Data->From Power Platform->From Power BI ?
SergeiBaklan yes, exactly the same. No authentication pop up window.
I don't know the answer, but I'd check first this setting in Power BI Admin portal
and if it is ON try to give user access to entire workspace, not only to semantic model.
