Add Trendline
I would like to ask what is the method of fitting a trendline by adding it inside excel and choosing exponential or power? Is it nonlinear least squares? What is the algorithm again? excel add trendline inside does not see these options.

Wang_Yingying Select the series in your chart for which you want to add the trendline. The click the + icon and then the little > sign next to trendline. Finally, choose the More options... item:
For an existing trendline: Click on the trendline and then press control+1 to open it's settings pane.
