a function not working (current date function)
Hi Alberto,
Does this happen just in one file, or in every spreadsheet you open (even a blank one)?
If it is just one file, does it have macros within it?
Thanks

If you have not done so, could you please load Excel in safe mode (hold Ctrl button, double click Excel icon, then accept the prompt) and try the shortcut to see if it works?

Hi Alberto,
could you please try the following:
1. Close Excel
2. Go to the Excel start folder with the Personal Workbook. Normally, you can find it as below - please use your user name instead of the text 'ReplaceWithYourUserName'
C:\Users\ReplaceWithYourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
3. If you see PERSONAL.XLSB, please make a backup copy of it into a different folder - just in case you wish to restore it in the future (in case it has some useful code)
4. Delete PERSONAL.XLSB from the XLSTART folder
5. Open Excel, then try the key shortcut
Please let me know if it has worked
Yury

Just in case, similar issue already discussed here https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Excel/Shortcuts-to-insert-current-date-and-time-CTRL-don-t-work-in/m-p/65434#M702
