A formula to test which hyperlinks in a column, work/don't work, to call up an external files?
I have very large list of hyperlinks in a column to call up music or video files. Is there formula that will let me know which of the links cannot find the file for whatever reason. I don't need the reason why, I just want to know which ones do not work.
Please note, it is NOT a link to another workbook, which means the "Edit Links" tutorials don't work. I have already tried it, Edit Links only shows up once there is a link to another workbook.
I have enclosed an image below to help demonstrate.
The names of the files are in col. A
The directory in B
The Hyperlinks are in col D. =HYPERLINK(B1,A1) it is looking for an audio file.
SergeiBaklan Thanks. The site would be helpful if the Edit Link option was available. Mine is not there at all and when I try to add it through the Customize Ribbon option, it only allows me to add it under a New Tab or New Group. Even under those circumstances the Edit Link option is greyed out.
