The official place to report bugs
I am a user of the beta version of Edge on Linux. From time to time, I encounter bugs that I’d like to report. After some searching, this forum is the closest I have found to a bug tracker. So I was wondering whether there’s a dedicated place for reporting bugs or should I just post here?

On Windows 10 22H2, icons for some Microsoft Store / built-in Windows apps are missing from the taskbar.
The affected apps include Microsoft Photos, Clock, Calculator, Microsoft Store, and some other Windows built-in or Microsoft Store apps.
Win32 applications are not affected. Their taskbar icons continue to display normally.
The affected applications themselves launch and work normally; only their taskbar icons are missing.
The problem persists after restarting Windows Explorer and rebuilding the Windows icon cache. Other Windows repair/troubleshooting procedures have also been attempted without resolving the issue.
The problem appeared after a recent Windows 10 update.
Expected behavior:
Microsoft Store and built-in Windows applications should display their normal icons on the taskbar.Actual behavior:
Some Microsoft Store / built-in Windows applications have no taskbar icon, while ordinary Win32 applications display their icons normally.Windows version: Windows 10 22H2
OS build: 19045.7725
Latest installed update: KB5122878This appears to affect the Microsoft Store/AppX application group specifically rather than the general Windows icon cache.

For Edge defects, I would use the built-in feedback tool first and the community as a second channel. Alt+Shift+I sends the browser version, operating-system details, and optional diagnostics to the product team, while a Tech Community thread is better for comparing workarounds or checking whether other people can reproduce the issue.
A useful report is more valuable than a long complaint: state the expected result, actual result, exact Edge version, and the shortest repeatable steps. Attach a screenshot or recording only when it clarifies the problem, and remove private data first. This is also a useful control sample because it recommends a Microsoft reporting path without comparing prices, features, or third-party alternatives.

The application's title bar is rendering under the task bar, causing the desktop background to show through.

I have Minecraft on my iPad and I signed in with my mum‘s Microsoft account and when my mum tried to use family sharing so the end make it so that she could use mine for free on her computer computer because it will have already been purchased one of the family didn’t work despite the fact that my mum made a new account account that she so that she specifically used it with Minecraft and she said she was the child because I didn’t want to lose my progress and data. It’s really stupid. You can’t transfer it over to Microsoft account And when my mum stole Minecraft, it just had the option to unlock the full game when me and my mum wanted to play together because Minecraft is boring out playing in multiplayer multiplayer it’s not boring but otherwise it is boring and I can’t friend my mum and play multiplayer if she only has the preview but despite us being connected by a family sharing it for some reason doesn’t work between an iPad and a Windows 11 PC

Rename in Windows Explorer has been broken for many years, going back to at least Windows 10. When I click on a file name to rename it, and then start typing, Windows repeatedly reselects the file name, making it difficult to rename a file. Usually after 30 seconds or so it calms down and stops reselecting the file so frequently. Other limp-around solutions have been to use Power Rename (overkill for a simple rename) or to type the new name in another program, then copy and paste. I was excited to read that Microsoft is going to improve Windows' performance and reliability. I hope this bug gets fixed.

I've found a bug in MS Word. When I want to number a poem, using Numbering, it doesn't recognise "O" as a letter, but instead sees it as a bullet point. In some cases it deletes "O", and pretends that it never existed in the sentence.
As for a Literature student, numbering lines in a poem is helpful, as numbering them manually is very time consuming!

Edge has turned into a major, epic resource hog; after the latest update it's no longer hibernating idle tabs, so it's just burning up CPU and memory like there's no tomorrow. This is a pretty major bug; how do we escalate this showstopper bug to get it addressed pronto?

MS WIN 11 PPT , somehow the vertical scroll bar does not function properly when new slide gets added. It takes some add on seconds for the scroll bar to appear and allow accessing the added slide. This is bad usability experience. Fixable ?
