Granting auto consent for customer tenant does not work anymore
Hi everyone,
For at least 1 year we were using /v1/customers/{{CUSTOMER_TENANT_ID}}/applicationconsents endpoint to auto-grant consent for partner app to the customer tenant. However starting from today the endpoint returns 403 without any further clarification.
Did anything change on the endpoint itself? Is there a workaround?
Note: There is a valid active GDAP relationship between partner and customer, with Global Administrator permission.
Have you tried logging a support ticket for this?

We are experiencing the exact same issue and are suspecting it is related to the issue on their status page.

Some Partner users are unable to access customers M365 Admin Center Portal via GDAP (Admin on Behalf Of). Partners will receive a generic permissions error. M365 Admin Center Engineering teams are working on the resolving the issue.

We are also experiencing the same issue. Other API endpoints through the Partner Center API are working fine, but granting application consent is returning a 403 without a response body. This was working fine for the past 10 months until yesterday. I've even recreated GDAP relationships between us (the partner) and tenants.

Hi,
Same here. I guess this is a temporary issue with Partner Center API.

Yes, we have created a support ticket and it was resolved on 12 Dec. Support person confirmed that there was an issue with API and they had to rollback.
