Question about Dynamics 365 Base and attach licenses for Finance and Supply Chain Management
Taking for example a customer who has 15 users who require Dynamics 365 Finance, and 70 users on Supply Chain Management, it's more cost effective to buy the 15 Finance licenses as an attach to 85 SCM base licenses. In what type of scenario would this customer need to buy the minimum 20 Finance base licenses instead? Thanks in advance.

I would agree with buying 15 Finance licenses as an attach to 85 SCM base licenses.
You'll need to check pricing to confirm. To do so, Partners can log into Partner Center to access the new commerce price sheet API for the customer's market. Pricing and offers - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn

- Hi! I’ve been trying to confirm a rumor about EA license purchases: we’re told per-workload Attach licenses must meet minimum purchase requirement. This is contrary to license T&Cs and License Guides. Ex: purchase 20 Finance, only need 5 SCM attach. We’re told customer is required to purchase Qty 20 SCM attach to meet 20 minimum per workload. I’ve yet to see any such update. Any chance you can confirm?
