Project Operations query

To create any F&O project, we need at least 20 base (Finance, SCM, Commerce) licenses for the project to be created in LCS. Project OPS doesn’t have the minimum requirement of 20 anymore, so will this work if customer only purchases 5 Project Ops licenses? Will they be able to work on LCS? Or they have to have the 20 minimum base?

All of the documentation that I have states that the purchase minimum for Project Ops is 20. You can find purchase minimums on the Product Terms website. Other partners may be able to offer a solution for your scenario, however, the Licensing Concierge does not offer product "solutions" that you would receive via the ASfP or other support plan.  You can contact ASfP (Advance Support for Partners).

Team, that's weird because when I go to CSP portal and check the Project Operations license, the default number shows as 1, instead of 10. And usually the default minimum users is what shows up for licenses in CSP under NCE.

There are times when Partners receive product changes & other licensing news before receive them, so, do you have documentation regarding a reduction in Project Ops?

If you're only going by the structure of the CSP portal in your snapshot, I'd say that the best resource is in Product Terms, since that's where you can find license terms & Use Rights of Products and Services.

But again, if you have documentation that the purchasing minimums have been reduced, please provide me with the link.
