Operations - Order lines license query
In D365UO we have the "Operations - Order lines" license.
As the licensing guide states it "allows you to extend the use of the" ... "applications with an alternative to user and device-based licensing. The Operations – Order Lines license enables internal users, partners, customers, connected automated systems, loT devices and bots to update specific tables with transactional licensing based on the number of transactions updated in those tables".
Also we learned, that in Dual-write scenarios, we do not need an explicit D365UO license if entering data in D365CE causes to automatically write data into D365UO.
Now I have two scenarios:
- A D365CE user creates an incident / work order in D365CE. Using a custom plugin, we use the Batch Odata functionality of D365UO to generate sales orders and lines.
- An automated process creates an incident / work order in D365CE. Using a custom plugin, we use the Batch Odata functionality of D365UO to generate sales orders and lines.
In which of these cases do we need the Operations - Order lines license?

In which of these cases do we need the Operations - Order lines license? Based on the D365 LG, both scenarios would need the Operations Order Lines license. Per pg.38 of the D365 LG:

Before I reply to your licensing questions, I'd like to clarify/ask you to clarify the licenses that you're asking about and the abbreviations you're using:
- D365UO - Dynamics 365 Unified Operations
- D365CE - please state the full name of this license as I'm not sure what you mean by "CE"

CE means Customer Engagment, so the CRM part of Dynamics 365: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service.
