Eligibility to "Bridge to the Cloud 2" Promotion

I was told by the regional operation team that "Bridge to the Cloud 2 (BTTC2)" can be applied to customer's tenants which have never purchased CSP licenses before.

Is this true?

If a customer is a Microsoft 365 user and wishes to move their Dynamics on-premise to Cloud, they have to have a brand new tenant?

You obviously need a tenant in which to place CSP licenses. If there's not yet one established you will need to first establish one.

If their M365 is in the cloud, they can put BC in that tenant.  If their M365 is not in the cloud (is that possible???) then please see the previous response.

  • Hi Yuko_Mizuno

The Bridge to Cloud 2 promotion is designed support Dynamics Price List (DPL) customers moving from Dynamics on-premises to Dynamics 365 online.

This promotion enables existing Dynamics on-premises customers with an active Enhancement Plan (EP) to obtain discounted cloud licenses through the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program.

Thank you for your quick response.
Yes, we have many Business Central Cloud, so I know customers need tenants to place CSP licenses.

      >If their M365 is in the cloud, they can put BC in that tenant.

According to your feedback, a tenant to place BTTC2 licenses does not have to be a new one, does it? As I wrote, our regional operation center told me that a tenant to place BTTC2 license must be a new one. If a customer has purchased any CSP licenses in the tenant in the past, they cannot place BTTCS2 licenses.
But there is no description about this point as a eligibility of BTTC2 in the document.
Also, it's no point for customers to move to the cloud if they cannot add Business Central app into their existing M365 but they have to log in to a separate tenant.

      Hi,
I got additional feedback from the regional operation team.
They confirmed that the correct information is "the same online product", not "any CSP licenses".
Thus, customers can put BTTC2 promotion licenses in their existing M365 tenant if they have not purchased BC cloud in the same tenant before.

      >New customer on cloud product. Customer must not have previously purchased the same online product via legacy CSP or NCE.

Thank you again for your feedback.
