Business Central Device license
I thought customers must have at least one Essentials or Premium SAL when purchasing Device license, but I can't find any description of this prerequisite in the license guide nor license term.
To purchase a Team Member license, customers must have Dynamics 365 user SLs other than the Team Members SL according to the license term according to the license term.

Is this not same for Device license or are customers allowed to purchase Device license only without other user licenses?
If customers are required to have other user licenses to purchase one Device license, can we apply a 30day-trial license (Business Central Premium) for the initial month?

Based on the current Business Central licensing guidance, I don't see a requirement that a Business Central Device license must be accompanied by an Essentials or Premium user license.
The Business Central Device license is a separate Device SL, and Microsoft specifically states that Business Central Device can use individual logins with no separate user license required.
This is different from the Team Members licensing condition mentioned in the question, so I wouldn't assume that the same prerequisite applies to the Device license.
There is an important limitation, though: a Business Central Device license does not provide full Business Central user capabilities. It only provides access to the defined Device scenarios/capabilities, such as supported point-of-sale, shop-floor, warehouse and store-manager activities.
Therefore, I also wouldn't expect a 30-day Premium trial to be necessary simply to establish eligibility for purchasing a Device license. The more important question is whether the customer's intended usage falls within the permitted Business Central Device capabilities.
For an actual licensing purchase, I would still validate the specific scenario against the current Microsoft Product Terms or with the licensing provider, since licensing terms can change.
