Mobile device management policy for max age limit doesn't work for Outlook Mobile (Microsoft Sync)

How about Set-ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy?
- ya already tried that. As the cmdlet implies it is for Active Sync and not the new Microsoft Sync. We were under the impression that the new cmdlet "set-MobileDeviceMailboxPolicy" would work but that doesn't work.
