Changing tenant domain name
Hi, like most people we signed up with an domain.onmicrosoft.com domain and now need to change it due to a company name change. I know we can do it for SharePoint but we need to do it with the tenant name itself, to newdomain.onmicrosoft.com or something as another company wants the original domain.onmicrosoft.com.
How do we do this? Thanks.

- As part of the SPO tenant rename feature, you can add a new tenant.onmicrosoft.com domain - so that should suit your needs.
- Problem is not the sharepoint tenant name only but the overall tenant name which stays the same after doing the sharepoint rename...we need to rename it because another firm wants the original domain.onmicrosoft.com name.
