365 Defender Policies & Rules Threat policies Anti-spam review not updating

Been using this recently to intercept a huge amount of spam/suspect malware for our Primary School (400 students). I initially implemented the 'Standard Preset Security Policy', worked really well and used the Review setting to monitor quarantined messages. I then turned on the Strict Preset Policy, this also worked very well, but unfortunately too well, as it was intercepting our 'CPOMS' safeguarding notifications, due to bulk email filter; 80 emails - or more - can be sent per day. I turned off the Strict Policy and now when I search for any/all items in quarantine there is 'No data available'. Is there a known issue here? I don't believe we've suddenly gone to zero messages intercepted... any suggestions appreciated.
