New Outlook: "Changing the ImapRemoteServerInfo is not allowed" after host migration
I'm experiencing the same problem with stale ImapRemoteServerInfo as well. Whom could I contact to address this bug? RobertSparnaaij
If you are still logged in with the account in New Outlook, remove the account via Settings-> Accounts and choose: Remove the account from all devices. This will delete the server cache as well.
If you've got a Microsoft Account, you can open a case via that account as well to request removing the cache for address that you are having issues with.
If you are still running into issues, feel free to reach out to me via a private message with the address that needs to be reset.
Please note that this will remove the entire server-side cache of the mailbox at Microsoft. You will also lose all data from any folders which do not sync with the IMAP server of your provider.
This includes all non-mail folders such as Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes, as well as the Drafts folder.

Ho there, thanks for offering to help. The address that needs the server-side reset for its IMAP configurations is mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons
Without this I will have to opt out on Microsoft 365, I need a smart e-mail client for which I am able to specify the IMAP server.
Many thanks!

Hi kalinowski,
You'll need to send me your address, together with the confirmation regarding potential data loss within non-synced folders, in a private message as they get removed in the forum posts.

I've contacted you in private messages over 2 months ago, and I am still waiting for your response, I've sent you a message 5 days ago aswell if there was any update.
Could you please look into it when you are available?
Also I've tried to open the case before, case can be open only if I have Microsoft 365 Premium, and since I have only Microsoft 365 Basic, I can use only live chat, which was unable to help me 2 times.

Yes, things took a little longer than expected with the double confirmation regarding data loss, but your accounts have been reset now and should work again in New Outlook.

Hi, Robert!
I sent you a direct message the other day about the same issue. Would appreciate a reset very much, if possible!
Cheers
