Questa funzione è riservata a chi ha l'abbonamento 365.
È inconcepibile che Microsoft non intervenga almeno per spiegare a noi utenti.

At this point, with the same cutoff showing in Excel for the web and desktop, across different users and markets, it does seem difficult to explain this as a workbook or calculation-setting issue. The fact that gold and crypto data are still updating while equity data stops is also a useful distinction.
What would be most helpful now is probably an official status from Microsoft or LSEG confirming that the missing STOCKHISTORY equity data is being investigated. Even a service incident reference or acknowledgement would give everyone a clearer indication that the issue is known rather than having users continue repeating the same troubleshooting steps.

More intel about the issue; however, zero resolve. Looks like we just have to waaaaaaiiit. Like prior issues with broken reporting. So frustrating MS. Would be awesome to know at least you know about this??

As of September 13th still no resolve. Tomorrow will be 10 calendars days since it broke. Is there anyone that can assist with this? MS told me to post here? However, what's the point if no one from MS reads it?

I hope you all are filling out a FEEDBACK each and everyday on this issue.

Does anyone from MS monitor these forums or is this all community driven?

I have been a Microsoft 365 customer since the service started and an Excel user for decades. It is kind of embarrassing for a major technology company to have outages like this. This is the 2nd long outage just this year. Moreover, customer can understand a short outage. This is the 2nd multiday outage. As a 365 and more recent Copilot subscriber, plus Microsoft hardware, the repeated outages and very long time needed to get the service back on line put doubt in the companies' capabilities and technology leadership. Exploring similar products from other companies is now a priority (e.g. Google Workspace)

Gold and Crypto prices are getting updated but not Equity prices

What ticker symbols did you use for Gold and Crypto? I tried GC and only got data up to 9/8/2026.

I would have assumed there was a large community globally that uses the stockhistory function; however, am beginning to wonder :) are we the only ones this is affecting or is it a global issue. If global you would think there would be more posts? Confused...

Not getting updated in India too

happening here in New Zealand as well...

It's definitely global. Same problem down here in Australia...
It's happened a few times before, so I suspect most are just waiting for MS to fix it.
I just reinstalled the latest EXCEL update (Build 20326.20144) from 8th Sep - didn't fix it. Not sure, but wouldn't be surprised if it was this update is what broke the function.

just tried the following function with excel online
=STOCKHISTORY("msft","2026-09-1","2026-12-31",0,1,0,2,3,4,1,5)
And has the same issue with excel online. The data does not do past September 4th, 2026.

This is beyond unacceptable. No one has figure out a resolution for the issue after nearly a week?? At this point its no longer a "temporary issue". I have to say, this feels like deliberate inaction, either by microsoft or lseg.

strano che le ultime date siano diverse... forse dipende dalle borse diverse (questa è Milano)?

are you getting any data for Sept 10 and today the 11th?
