Issue still persists. Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas. However, it seems to be a global issue. As any stock stops updating after September 4th. And yes the end date is set correctly :) MS told me to post here to resolve. However, are there actual MS staff here that can escalate and assist?

First check whether the formula’s end date is fixed at September 7. STOCKHISTORY will only return data within the dates you request, and it provides historical prices rather than live quotes.
- If the end date is fixed, change it to TODAY(). Also check that the interval argument is 0 for daily data.
- Go to Formulas > Calculation Options > Automatic, then select Calculate Now.
- In a blank workbook, try this test formula:
=STOCKHISTORY("XNAS:MSFT",TODAY()-14,TODAY(),0,1)
It requests available daily prices for Microsoft over the last two weeks. Use your local formula separators if Excel rejects the commas.
4. If your original stock is still missing dates, test it in Excel for the web too. If multiple stocks show the same cutoff in both versions, that points toward a data-service issue rather than your workbook.
STOCKHISTORY normally updates after the trading day finishes, and weekends or market holidays will not have daily trading entries. For US exchanges, September 7, 2026 was a market holiday, but that would not explain missing data for subsequent completed trading days.

This is the result, and today is 11/09/2026, so it looks like an issue related to Microsoft-specific LSEG feed or Microsoft processing.

These steps don't solve the problem for me. Do they solve it for you, CameronTaylor?
It seems the issue continues today. Microsoft and LSEG need to resolve this on their end, not the users' end.

Thanks but I have been using STOCKHISTORY from the beginning and tried several different versions of the formula and spoke to two different support agents for an hour each as they ran me through troubleshooting. Both arrived at the same conclusion........ Data is not provided after 9/4/2026. Let me ask you, did you try it in your Excel and did you get a result?

Having the same issue also since Tuesday - 09/08/2026. Last data available is from, Friday - 09/04/2026. Regardless of what stock or market you try it does not refresh past September 4th, 2026.
Updated excel, also did a repair of office. Then proceed to recreate the stockhistory functions thinking that maybe the parameters had changed. Even removed and edited a few parameters; however, received the same results.
Then proceeded to chat with a MS representative and opened a case number. Who could not help and told me to post here :)
This has happened before and the odd day has been lost but we are now on day 3 and this function is the number one reason I use MS products besides email. Sucks that things like this get lost and take too long to resolve. You just have to hope it will work again? Not great....Also posted in Excel the issues yesterday as per the report data issues function... am using Win 11Pro and Excel build Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2608 Build 16.0.20326.20072) 64-bit

Same issue here. No STOCKHISTORY data after 9/4/2026. I used the Feedback function to let Microsoft know.

Under Help on the menu use Feedback and flood them with posts on this issue. Microsoft is renown for making it difficult to correct issues on their side of the software.

Same on my side

The last data available for me is 2026/09/04.
