D365 Customer Voice Additional Responses
Hello, I’m hoping someone can help me with a query I have regarding D365 Customer Voice. I’m aware the standalone SKU was retired from 1st October 2023. D365 is now included with select D365 enterprise products such as Sales Enterprise & so on, which includes 2k responses - fine this is understood. My question is – what happens when a customer want’s to add additional responses as this SKU use to exist which added 1k extra responses per license. But I can no longer see this visible anywhere. This unfortunately doesn’t exist on our Master Price File from Microsoft anymore at all – Please can someone advise? Hi I've heard the news that I can't Mix Plan Business that exceeds 300 is it true or not? Currently, I have a customer who buys a Mix Plan Business that exceeds 300, can I still back it up or not? If not, I'd like to request a ref link from Microsoft. For example, buy Microsoft 365 Business Basic 300 Lic And Microsoft 365 Business Standard 300 Lic. Dear Community We have been using a D365 Finance instance since 2019 as IUR. As from my understanding, from the old silver/gold ERP competency. Since we bought the legacy benefits this summer, I assumed we‘ll get the D365 instance extended as well. But know I have to learn, that this is not included in the legacy benefits and our subscription will run out in one month. We‘d have to buy the subscriptions - really funny, we can not even use the software internally that we are selling/implementing at our customers? I know, we could get the Business Applications Designation - but for a partner with 20 employees, there is no chance to reach this (maybe for one year, but not a couple of years consecutively). Hello. There's a September 2023 licensing deck floating around out there from MSFT saying that Customer Voice will be end of sale as of 10/1. This is not documented anywhere else and I'd very much like to know what's up? Two license topics from me in one day...fun times. I'm trying to figure out what Business Central license is required for a very specific case as follows. A user works in an app on a mobile device that works in offline mode (does not need a live connection to the back-end Dynamics platforms) The back-end environment has functionality running on both D365 Sales and Business Central The user in my scenario never uses these applications directly - they only work in their mobile app The user's app shows data its own database, not directly from either system BUT, data gets pushed from D365 Sales and Business Central out to the database for the mobile app The user also performs actions in the app that get recorded (details of work performed, items used, etc.) A non-real-time integration process (running on an integration platform...assume every 5 minutes) picks up the details of items that were used and pushes them into Business Central where they are automatically posted as negative item adjustments So...my question is: What license does the mobile app user require for Business Central?SolvedrobepimaticJun 20, 2023Brass Contributor4.5KViews1like21CommentsDynamics 365 Marketing add-on issue
Hello, We have a customer who is using D365 Marketing app and currently they need additional contacts add-on to increase capacity limits. Since Customer Insights Journeys are now in place there is no availability to order these outdated add-on sku's. When we tried to order current equivalent sku (Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Journeys T2 Interacted People) it also was not possible as it only works with up-to-date base licenses. Therefore, how could we increase required capacity for the customer on D365 Marketing app or how can we upgrade D365 Marketing license to Customer Insights in mid-term of subscription which would give as qualifying base license? Does a user licensed with a Microsoft E3 or Windows 10/11 E3 licensed through CSP, have VDA Rights for an onprem VDI server? My understanding is that this was recently changed to allow these rights through a CSP Agreement, whereas before it was only allowed through an EA or MPSA agreement. Here is the documentation I have found on this that I am hoping you can verify. I’ve attached the presentation from Microsoft that announced this change. Please go to slide 21 where you can see that you can run Windows hosted desktops on a server through the CSP model. I have attached the Licensing Brief for licensing for Virtual Desktops. If you look at Page 8, you will find the Summary Table, that shows that with a Microsoft E3, you have the ability to run the Microsoft E3 (or Windows E3) on an on-prem server. Hi all, Microsoft announced a general price increase of D365 licenses, with a increase of 10-15% for certain suites. See following blog: New pricing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 effective October 2024 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog. I wonder how this price increase will affect the Base/Attach model and combinations you can make. Eg. the D365 Sales Enterprise license with increase from $95 --> $105. While the D365 BC Premium will remain on $100 (no increase for BC). This means, Sales Enterprise will be more expensive than BC Premium. Currently we can attach Sales Enterprise on a BC Premium license: General rule of thumb is that the Base license must be the highest priced license, and Attach licenses should be the cheaper licenses. But with this price change this will be turned around between Sales/BC. So how will this price increase impact the Base/Attach model for such cases and existing customers? Looking to find out what has to be quoted via FTE count versus actual user/device count. I know the base product needs to be at FTE count. What about Endpoint Configuration Manager? I know that anything that can be purchased as a FTE, needs to be purchased that way, but Endpoint Configuration Manager may be different (or does it need to be licensed by FTE count as it is a component of the Core CAL? There are two options: Endpoint Config Manager per OSE and Endpoint Configuration Manager per user. Hi, I'm unable to login to https://dynamicspartners.transform.microsoft.com/. Nothing happens when I try to press the login button on the upper right corner. Result has been the same with three different browsers (Firefox, Chrome & Edge) and with two different PCs. Our IT says that I have the same rights than my predecessor who used to handle MS incentive cases.
