SharePoint 2019 Search returning irrelevant results
Hi We need assistance with our SharePoint Server 2019 results, when searching for an Item using a unique column value, the results for our query returns the item with the metadata value search as well as other items that do not match the query. On our previous 2013 environment we were only recieving the correct item, is there a bug with the SharePoint 2019 search or do we need additional search configuration to ensure that only the Item the matches the query is returned,

Minimum Active Directoy requirement for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition?
So I have a customer that has a Windows Server 2008 R2 active directory domain controller. Does SharePoint Server Subscription Edition support AD in Windows Server 2008 R2? Seems the offical documentation is not updated. I see SP 2019 supports AD 2003: SharePoint Server 2019 requires a minimum Active Directory domain and forest functional level of Windows Server 2003 (native). Source:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/install/hardware-and-software-requirements-2019 But in the SPSE documentation, it is not specified. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/install/software-requirements-for-sharepoint-servers-for-sharepoint-server-subscription-edition Googled (and Binged) around with no results. Anyone has a SPSE in AD 2008 R2?

Does Sharepoint Server Subscription Edition Support Managed Modules
Hi, I am trying to add a managed module to Sharepoint Application in IIS using the link "Add Managed Module". However, I am receiving the following error when I try to add or modify managed modules. --------------------------- Add Managed Module --------------------------- There was an error while performing this operation. Details: Cannot execute a program. The command being executed was "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\csc.exe" /noconfig /fullpaths @"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root\57ae2802\38a0cd2e\2ppklip5.cmdline". Any idea if managed modules are supported by Sharepoint server. If it is then how can I add to the SP site. Thanks

Alternate Access Mappings outlook
Send and revice error to sharepoint lists. Have an Default zone https://stuff.name.com Intranet zone https://stuff-noadfs.name.com I think change to "Internet" zone will solve it Default zone https://stuff.name.com Internet zonehttps://stuff-noadfs.name.com Do I need an intranet zone ? will it be any trouble removing it and add internet zone.

Feature request: Now that Explorer View is back in Edge for SPO, can we get that for Server too?
I'm a bit late to the game – I just found out that Edge v93+ re-introduced the previously IE/Active X-only feature Explorer View/"View in File Explorer" for SharePoint Online back in Nov 2021. Microsoft, could we please get this in Edge for SharePoint Server too? There are many corporate customers who would be very happy! Thank you for considering it. 😃

Sharepoint Subscription Edition error anonymous access user profile application
Hi, I'm having a problem configuring SharePoint. I would like to have a site accessible by anonymous users. When users log in, they have other pages. They also must have Self-service site creation (about me). I have configured anonymous access. Works. I have configured user profile application with self-service site creation. Also works. The problem is that by activating the « user profile service application » on the web application (proxy group default) the anonymous access no longer works. Forced to login (prompt). If I remove the user profile service application from the proxy group. Anonymous access works but I no longer have the "about me" button, just the user's name. The same configuration on my SharePoint on premise 2019 works without problem. Is this a bug or is there a particular configuration to do? Thanks

SharePoint Server Subscription Edition Licensing
Hi everyone, Do you have any official information on the licensing for SharePoint Server and Project Server Subscription Editions ? I've read here that it is based on the server/CAL license model, which brings me to think it is the usual on premise licensing... But I've also read on several other blogs that SPSE was first announced to be purchasedvia recurring subscription fees.. Thanks 🙂

For example: Site Information link and Site Permissions link. Home.aspx:1 [Report Only] Refused to run the JavaScript URL because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'strict-dynamic' 'unsafe-eval' 'nonce-8cc6d271-043f-4ba3-a97f-847340968cae'". Either the 'unsafe-inline' keyword, a hash ('sha256-...'), or a nonce ('nonce-...') is required to enable inline execution. Note that hashes do not apply to event handlers, style attributes and javascript&colon; navigations unless the 'unsafe-hashes' keyword is present. SharePoint SE SQL compatibility issue
HI, I am setting up a new instance of SharePoint Subscription Edition. I am having issues with getting past the the Configuration Wizard connection to the database. I have SQL Server 2019 on Server 2019, version 15.0.2000.5 (64 bit) and am getting the error message: According to this:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/install/software-requirements-for-database-servers-for-sharepoint-server-subscription-edition150 is a supported version. It is 64 bit: and I have set "Max Degree of Parallelism" to 1. Any ideas what I should be looking for to resolve this? Please and thanks

Classic Intranet in SharePoint Server Subscription Edition
Yes I know, not recommended, but it is possible - has any of the Classic functionality been removed under the covers preventing this (such as master pages, page layouts, classic DocSets)? - Looking to migrate a Classic Intranet from 2013 to SE. to get back into a supported version. - Would like to migrate to SE if the Classic functionality is the same as in 2016 and 2019, and then phase 2 of project would be a classic to modern rebuild on the SE platform.
