Windows Defender and Apps out of the App Store
I have a problem with an app of the app store. Windows Defender always checks this App while running an it is not possible to work with this app properly. Further it is not possible to make an entry in the defender config to exclude this app from scanning because it is in the folder Windows App and there are no access with the admin account. I dont want to change the settings natively to this folder, and I think this is a design problem. Can anyone help me Kind regards Michael
Hotmail Account not receiving specific emails
I've started to notice I'm not receiving certain emails to my hotmail account. I have looked in other, junk, conversation history etc, checked blocked senders and checked rules I currently have set up. At first I thought I had placed my email in correct however I'm noticed I'm not receiving certain things eg from bookings.com and other businesses. Please give me a solution
Send to OneNote add-in missing everywhere in every platform
The Send to OneNote add-in missing from my outlook.com account. I'm using the web version of Outlook.com, the desktop Outlook client, and the mobile app, and the add-in missing everywhere, but I used it in the past. I have a personal account. I checked the Outlook add-ins settings but there is no option for that. What can I do?Purview - Default Labelling Issue
There is a proposition to simplify the current sensitivity labelling architecture since we had too many labels that basically is going out of hand. We basically simplified by choosing the most used labels and copying them as new using the same set of permissions and encryption policies applied. We duplicated instead of using the existing one's since we do not want to use sub categories and simplified by just have a drop down list. Everything is looking fine during the test phase but the issue is that the default label is still pointing out to the old label instead of the new one for random users on the office client apps. And some users doesn't have any issue at all. For instance - I have no issues on my Office client apps or OWA on my laptop where as on the CPC, the default label is still pointing to the old label on Office client apps and not being applied at all on OWA. I have set the highest priority to the new labels and all that. Issue still persists. Any advice / help would be greatly appreciated.Email Address in Entra ID not reflected to OpenLearning
We've configured SSO with OpenLearning but when a new user tries to login, the email address is not being passed on to OpenLearning. It says "It seems you already have an OpenLearning account" when it is his/her first time joining in. The OpenLearning support said to contact Microsoft support. Then the Microsoft support is passing the issue somewhere. Does anyone have encountered and resolved this issue?
Assistance with Power Platform Exam
Hello, I'm reaching out in hopes that you can help me with an issue or direct me to the appropriate person. I recently completed the Power Up course and received a voucher to take the Power Platform exam. However, when I scheduled the exam through Pearson VUE, I mistakenly selected the French version instead of the English one. During the exam session, I asked the proctor if it could be changed, but was informed that only Microsoft has the authority to make such changes. Is there any way I can reschedule the exam or switch it to the English version using the same voucher? Thank you in advance for your help. I still find it hard to understand the differences between Azure AD Join (Entra Join) vs Hybrid Azure AD Join vs Azure AD Registration (Workplace Join). I know Azure AD Registration (Workplace Join) is supposed to be nest for Personal devices (BYOD) but if you have security as an important part of your business why would you want to allow this? You could end up with a billion random machines in your Entra. What's the benefit of this? Also, if I have a Hybrid environment and I have booth cloud and on prem apps that do auth via both on prem (for on prem apps linked to AD) and Entra for cloud do I need to be Hybrid Azure AD Joined to support on prem an cloud? Or will a person working from a Azure AD Joined machine still be able to access on prem resources like file servers and any app that uses AD groups for auth, access provisioning etc?Please remove Community Share Buttons at the left
Some time ago, Community Share Buttons started to appear on the left on the Tech Community Discussion Hubs. With normal zoom (100%), they overlap the text and are very annoying. Please get rid of these or give instructions on how to remove them. Inbox / Private messages broken on my profile
Hi, I'm trying to get informations regarding a case I opened 2 months ago and they are sent through private messages I can't open. I see that I have 97 unread messages but when I click on the icon, it just open the Inbox, try to load something for a while then just give up, leaving me there. Before someone tries to tell me that this is a cookie or cache issue, it is happening on several browsers, using normal or InPrivate session and on multiple computers so the problem is not there. After searching, it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue. Could someone have a look at it so I can reply to the people from Microsoft asking me informations in PM and not forcing me to ping them on LinkedIn? Some of them were: Updating Windows 11 to the latest version Creating new users Re-installing the Office 365 package I'd like to know how to solve this issue since I'm paying for the Office 365 Personal subscription, which says that I'll be able to use this feature. Buenas tardes, Adquirí el paquete Microsoft Office 365 personal y lo activé. En la web me consta que sólo he utilizado 30 GB del 1 TB total de almacenamiento, sin embargo, en la versión de escritorio me aparece constantemente el mensaje de que no hay suficiente almacenamiento en la nube. De hecho, en las carpetas también me aparecen las cruces rojas y como si no se sincronizara. He desvinculado el dispositivo, cerrando la sesión y volviéndola a iniciar varias veces, sin resultado. También he desinstalado e instalado el programa de OneDrive, también sin éxito. Ya no sé qué más hacer, la verdad es muy incómodo que te salga constantemente ese mensaje y no puedas asegurar que los archivos que guardas en el escritorio se suban correctamente a la nube. My goal is to have access to certain file shares by certain groups or users be logged. I have created a group policy that enables "Audit File System" in Advanced Audit Configuration. I then configure a SACL for the desired file share targeting my username as the principal (for testing purposes). It works. I can see in the Security log whenever I access the file share. The issue I am having is that I am also recording events by the System user and I'm not sure why that is happening or how to prevent it. The events are for other files not related to the SACL I configured. My understanding is that only users/groups in the relevant SACL will be recorded in the logs.Community email digests and notifications stopped?
I noticed I stopped getting weekly/daily email digests from all the communities I'm subscribed to. In fact it seems like I have stopped getting emails entirely from Notifications at CommunityHub.Microsoft.com. I had IT check to see if they were getting caught in any filters and they said the last ones were sent in April.
