caithart you said, "PST support is on the roadmap to first be released in March 2025, and subsequent updates will continue to add functionality after that point."
This is proof that "The new Outlook for Windows is NOT ready when you are". Shameful
I noticed that the Outlook Start Menu shortcut got renamed "Outlook (classic)". This going to confuse the hell out my users. Thanks for that (/s)
Suggestion: Rename the "old" Outlook as "Outlook Pro" and the new Outlook as "Outlook Lite". These names better reflect the feature set.
IT and Office Professionals are still pissed that instead of improving Outlook, you instead abandoned it for a brand new, inferior product that you confusingly also call Outlook.
Did Microsoft learn nothing from Edge? You released a terrible browser in 2015 called Edge. You eventually started over with a Chromium-based browser (that is quite good), but you also called it Edge. I have dozens of users who refuse to even try Edge because they remember how bad the old Edge was. They prefer Chrome. I say. "No, it is Chrome, but better, vertical tabs, collections, etc.". They don't care.
Hmm, maybe you did learn. By reusing the Outlook name, you are tricking people into thinking it's an update to a great tool instead of something totally different that is feature reduced with serious privacy concerns.
