Well we tried using the new Outlook again on the back of this announcement, but there are just so many missing features that the classic version has.
Nearly every user that we have asked to try out the new version has decided within a few days that it is making them less productive, because of missing everyday features that classic Outlook has.
Some of the major features that our users have reported missing:
Can't add shared accounts to favourites
Can't add members to distribution groups
Can't send outlook items as attachments
It's a real shame that new features only seem to be coming to the new version now, as I feel the classic version should still get these new features until the new Outlook is fit for business use.
Microsoft have shown us with the new Teams client that a new client can be pushed out alongside the existing one with most features working.
I really hope you can get the new outlook on par with the classic version soon, but I just have a feeling this is going to be another Microsoft Vista/Windows 8 type of update that nobody wants.
