Hive CPQ's product configurator, an app published to Azure Marketplace, streamlines configure, price, quote (CPQ) processes, extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 to simplify quoting, reduce mistakes, and increase sales.
Azure Marketplace interviewed Frank ter Steege, Business Development Manager of Zolare (formerly Pirisol) in The Netherlands, to learn what he had to say about the solution.
What do you like best about Hive CPQ?
What I like the most about Hive CPQ is the fact the software is easy to use. Together with a consultant you get to know the software in the beginning. After a couple of hours using the software you'll find out that it's actually pretty easy to use. Besides that, you can bulk import changes. This saves a great amount of time.
The process and onboarding of the Hive team went great as well. Kind employees, and if you have any feedback, they get on it quickly. I would, and already did, recommend Hive CPQ to other manufacturers.
How has the solution helped your business?
Hive CPQ makes quoting simple and accurate, with 90% of our dealers already using it. It boosts sales, avoids mistakes, and is now a strong selling point for attracting new dealers.
How is customer service and support for Hive CPQ?
The support has been excellent. Hive’s personal involvement stood out from the start, and the switch to a Dutch-speaking consultant really accelerated progress.
Any recommendations to other users considering this product?
A phased rollout worked best for us, starting with one product group and adding others later. Onboarding also doesn’t need to be heavy, as the system is intuitive and dealers quickly adapt.
We chose to work with a Hive consultant who knows our products and language, and we made sure to free up internal time to keep the project moving.
