How to separate non-indented number points from indented number points?
I'll explain. I have a document that's about fifty pages in length, with about 500 numbered points in total. The list randomly is dispersed going down, with some numbered points having no indentation while some have it (text down and to the right, down to the right and so on). It looks like this: Example 1 (Actual Layout): This Is An Example How The Document Is Listed Trying to sift through it all and sort the list manually is proving to be too time consuming. Trying to sort the lists alphabetically left all the indented text out of order with no way to figure out what numbered point it belonged to what. It looked something like this: Example 2 (Alphabetized Layout): An Document Example How Is Is Listed Of The This Is there any way to have it so word can separate Example 1's points, 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 and points 2 and 3 away from each other, creating two separate lists with all the indented numbered points all corresponding to the correct main indented point? Word Web Version Text disappears after closing
I wrote text in a document, and it appeared to save successfully (indicated by the "Saved" icon). However, after closing the tab and reopening the document, the text had disappeared. In its place are blank spaces that preserve the exact formatting of the original text—for example, if the original text had a paragraph structure, the blank spaces repeat the same pattern. The text is no longer accessible. I've attempted to: Copy the disappeared text to another document or notepad Select it Change the text color However, no text appears in any of these actions—only the blank spaces are visible and selectable.

As instructed during a chat with Microsoft technical support I cleared cache and cookies in my browser, restarted my computer and the above described problems persist. Online co creation only as guest user?
I've invited people outside my organization to check a Word document through co-creation online (via OneDrive and Sharepoint). These people can acces the document and modify it as well. However, these people are only visible as guest users and not under their own name (Microsoft account). One of our admin-managed add-ins (Adobe Sign) has gone AWOL from the ribbon of the Word desktop app recently (it still shows up in the web-app version of Word). One of the suggested troubleshooting steps is to check review the Office Add-ins from within the app itself. When doing so, I receive an error: Insert ribbon-->Add-ins section-->My Add-ins-->See all...-->Admin Managed "Cannot connect to catalog" I've tried: signing out, back in, clearing the Office cache, and redeploying the add-in from central management. The deployment always reports that it was successful. Can anyone else reproduce this "Cannot connect to catalog" issue, or suggest additional troubleshooting steps/workarounds?Excel link does not work in a word document saved at onedrive
Hello, I have a word document with some links to excel workbooks. The update process between excel and word was working properly until I started do save these files in One-Drive. I've checked the excel links in the word document and they appear ok. But when I try do update (forced, because the automatic process does not work) I receive a message of server authorization problem. Could someone help me with what to do?
text-to-speech Leads to an error message
Hello everyone My problem is If I have text-to-speech enabled for half an hour, I get an error message telling me to log in even though I am alrady logged in. After that, I can only select the bad voices for text-to-speech and the playback speed is at 1000% until I restart the app, then it goes again for half an hour. Can anyone help me?
Word Print format
Good evening, I created an organization chart in word with a big layout (ansi C, 43.18cm x 55.88cm) Now i want it to print out as an A4. But when I choose A4, only a fraction of my chart shows up. It is cropped. When I print it as a pdf and then print it out on A4, it looks fine. How can i print it directly from word? When i reduce the chart manually, the text in it is about 7pt, which is way too small. I can not find an option to reduce it automaticly to the right size in the print options. Maybe someone can help me with this? Thanks for your time! Best regards
