13 TopicsTeams - External Webinars and reporting on attendees
Hi, We are currently looking at different Webinar products for our organisation. The main driver for the Webinar product is to be able to report on who has attended and for how how long. The reporting on attendees is the biggest driver at the moment. We have Skype for Business Hybrid and from what I can see the reporting is somewhat lacking. You can view the call history of the meeting, but it displays people who join via the web app as anonymous and has no way of linking a person who has dialed into the meeting via the dial-in number to their email address. Does Teams/Teams live events provide better reporting on attendees?4.4KViews0likes1CommentCouldn't find that event. Refresh your calendar to try again.

I would like there to be two set of fields on GDPR when creating the forms - one for storing/processing data and one for letting us send information about the event. Or at least let us save commonly used custom fields, so we don't have to manually create these each time we have a webinar.2.2KViews0likes1CommentTeams Premium Recurring Webinars
Is there a way to set a Teams Webinar as a recurring webinar? We have Teams Premium and our Training Department is running a basics type of webinar 2x/month covering the exact same topic. We want to give people options of which one they want to attend vs. having to create a single webinar for each date. Is this possible?1.6KViews1like2CommentsWebinar Function
I see there's a new webinar experience. Does anyone know if the same restrictions around anonymous presenters still applies? Also is it possible not to have attendees being displayed in video? I can see the advantages of an internal webinar but for presenting to public, we wouldn't want attendees videos to be shown. It's definitely the main issue holding us back.1.5KViews0likes1CommentTeams Webinar - External Presenters Stuck in Lobby
Hello, I have been responsible for two recent webinars hosted by my organisation, which had guest presenters. When setting up the webinars, I was sure to add the guest presenters as "External Presenters", and they received unique meeting links, etc. I also made sure the webinar settings were set to "invited guests can bypass lobby", so my understanding is that the presenters should have been able to jump straight into the webinar without sitting in the lobby. Unfortunately, for both webinars, the guest presenters ended up sitting in the meeting lobby, and I had to stressfully comb through hundreds of "Attendee" names in the lobby to find them, let them into the webinar, and then assign them presenter status (which I surely shouldn't have to do if they are already invited as a presenter!). It was particularly stressful last night when the lobby list wasn't loading, so I was unable to find the presenters. I ended up having to 'admit all' when the webinar start time came around and then spent the first 1-2 mins trying to find the guest presenters' names and give them presenter capabilities. I just want to know if there is a clear error I am making or some trick to ensure this never happens again. These are quite big webinars with hundreds of attendees and well-known presenters, so added technical challenges are unacceptable and cause unnecessary stress/delays. Any help would be much appreciated.1.1KViews0likes2CommentsFrom Take-Off to Landing - 6 Steps to a Successful Microsoft Teams Pilot
