101 TopicsMicrosoft's Verification and Support System
Microsoft's verification and support system is absolutely appalling. Despite providing every piece of required information for my company, their system continues to reject my verification attempts. I've gone above and beyond by paying extra to create additional email accounts in the format email address removed for privacy reasons. I've submitted QR-coded invoices officially verified by government authorities. Our WHOIS data is current and accurate. My name matches perfectly across all documentation and our DUNS number is correct. Yet, I keep receiving the same frustrating response: "This is because the primary contact details did not match." When I reach out through their official support channels, it takes them five days just to respond. It's been two months now, and I'm still waiting for approval just to register. It's absurd that such a large company maintains such a disastrous system. All they need to do is verify real users directly without relying on AI algorithms. They're so focused on automating everything with artificial intelligence that they've created a dysfunctional process. Despite all their technology, humans still remain superior at handling these verification tasks, yet Microsoft seems determined to automate a process they haven't properly designed.1.1KViews3likes35CommentsOngoing Issue with Employment Verification in Microsoft Partner Program
Hello I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Employment Verification process in the Microsoft Partner and Reseller programs. When attempting to resolve the issue by clicking “Fix Now” after a rejected verification, I am continuously redirected back to the Identity Verification step. Even after completing the identity verification, I am sent back to Employment Verification, only to be rejected again. This creates a loop, and every time I click “Fix Now,” I am not given the option to upload any documents, but instead, I am redirected to the previous step, making it impossible to proceed. This issue has been ongoing for 50 days, and I have contacted Microsoft Support many times. Unfortunately, I continue to receive the same generic responses, asking for the same documents to be uploaded. After submitting them, there is no further follow-up, and the issue remains unresolved. It seems as though I am receiving automated responses without any real resolution. What adds to the frustration is the contradiction in the process: The exact same documents I submitted for Developer Verification, which were successfully processed and authorized, are being rejected for the Partner and Reseller programs, despite being identical in every way. Given the significant impact this issue is having on my business, I am reaching out to the community for assistance. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or is there any guidance on how to resolve this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support.2.3KViews5likes42CommentsAccess restricted
I was banned from the system without any justification. I spent six months struggling to get approval without ever using the service once. Now I face another six months trying to get my ban lifted, and they're telling me that if I pay $16,500 annually for support services, they'll help me. This system is absolutely ridiculous. When I was banned, I received no notification, no message, no email, nothing. I only got a response after submitting four support tickets. Now I suppose I'll need to submit another 50 tickets just to try to get my ban reversed. Microsoft is truly a terrible companyEmployment Verification Rejected - No more attempts
Hello, I am trying to get my account verified but after several failed attempts, now I do not have a possibility to resubmit the documents. I read few resources here and now I known what kind of document I need to submit, but there's no possibility. I contacted support maybe 6-7 times and their responses are always the same: We've reviewed your appeal for verification. Based on the information you have provided to date, we have determined that your organization does not currently meet the requirements to pass verification. We have closed your application. If you decide to reapply, please review the information at https://aka.ms/CSPVerification and http://aka.ms/PartnerVerification to ensure you meet the latest requirements. I don't know what to do now, tried to open new account with same company name but it didn't go through. I need somebody to help me how to reapply, or at least resubmit the documents. Support seems to be useless at this point because they reply with the same email all the time. Please advise! Thank you in advance!Business Verification failure, no reason?
I've tried repeatedly to verify my business which is failing. My credits are expiring soon so I need urgent help. I have not received a reply from the support ticket in the founder's home. My company is registered in the UK with Company House, it's clearly visible publicly that I am the owner. I've submitted a unified PDF with the Articles of Incorporation, Company Certificate showing it's address and company number, and everything else. These match the exactly details I put in the Founder's Hub. Yet I keep being rejected. I only have 2 appeals left. I do not know what to do when I'm not even told what the rejection reason is? How do I find out why my business verification is being rejected? The box states: "Unfortunately, we are unable to verify the information provided. Please provide documentation (tax invoices, bank statements, business registration certificate, etc.) that displays the registered business name and address to complete the verification process. If the business information was entered incorrectly, you can update the account information and restart the verification process." I have provided exactly this information. What do I do?283Views1like6CommentsUnable to update the primary contact email address during verification process
Registered my corporation on Microsoft Partner Center (MPC) about 2 weeks ago as the owner. Uploaded the incorporation document at that time. Then, it asked to upload the domain receipt to demonstrate the corporation owns the domain. Did that immediately. Now, the vetting status is still "Rejected". Also, when I check the "Legal Info" panel, my role is just "Developer" now, and there is no more "Owner" role for my account. Maybe because of this, I cannot see notification or expand "Contact info" for my corporation on MPC. I opened a support ticket and got an email saying the primary contact should not be general email like "email address removed for privacy reasons" and need to update it. But with the "Developer" role, I cannot even expand "Contact info" panel and won't be able to update it by myself now. This experience made me very frustrated with MPC. So I replied the support email, and who knows if they will actually reply or care.Microsoft Partner Center Account Verification Issues - Steps Unresponsive
Hello fellow members, I am currently facing an issue with the Microsoft Partner Center's account verification process, and I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered a similar problem or if there's a workaround that I might have missed. I have been trying to verify my account as guided by their official documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/verification-responses). Here are the steps I followed: I went to Account Settings and clicked on the Legal Info, then clicked on the "Fix now" button as instructed. The next step mentions "In Account Verification, from Select document type to upload, select the type of document you want to upload for verification". This is where the problem lies. After Step 1, the "Account Verification" tab or option simply doesn't appear for me. It feels as though the process just halts there. I tried to find a way around it, assuming maybe it's a browser issue or some temporary glitch, but multiple attempts yielded the same result. Through different browsers, different computers at different times. I also raised support tickets regarding this matter, but unfortunately, I haven't received any concrete responses yet. They only keep directing me back to the same steps that are unresponsive. And this has been over a month now and I kinda get stuck. Has anyone here faced a similar challenge or has any insights on how I can proceed with this? I appreciate all the help and suggestions I can get. Thanks in advance!11KViews2likes16CommentsOngoing Partner Verification Issues – I Need Help and Direction
At the end of 2024, I joined forces with a few close colleagues to create a global training company based in the U.S., with the goal of becoming a Microsoft partner focused on bridging the growing global skills gap in tech. As a Brazilian, I took every necessary step to legally establish the company in the United States — from business formation and IRS registration (EIN) to securing a D-U-N-S Number and setting up the domain and operations. Everything was done by the book, with transparency and diligence. On April 11, the company’s EIN was officially issued. I believed the hardest part was over. But what I wasn’t prepared for was the complexity and opacity of the Microsoft Partner verification process. Since May, I’ve been trying to verify the business and my personal identity to officially join the Microsoft Partner Network. I've submitted every required document multiple times — company formation papers, domain ownership proof, D-U-N-S details, IRS registration, and even identity verification via Microsoft Authenticator. To date, I’ve opened six different support tickets. I also reached out to a community manager who helps partners here but unfortunately, nothing has moved forward. The latest ticket was closed with the same response I’ve received multiple times: "We've reviewed your request for verification. Based on the information you have provided to date, we have determined that your organization does not currently meet the requirements to pass verification. We have closed your application. If you decide to reapply, please review the information at http://aka.ms/PartnerVerification..." This message is always the same, vague, generic, and without any actionable feedback on what exactly is missing. To make matters worse, we had to cancel our launch event scheduled for early July, which was to feature several MVPs, MCTs, and other community leaders. Without partner verification, we can’t operate or deliver what we’ve been building for months. What hurts the most is that the company I’ve admired and championed for years, as an MCT and community member — is now the one unintentionally preventing us from moving forward. I’m sharing this here with the hope that someone from the community or Microsoft can help guide or escalate the situation. We’ve done everything by the book, and just want the opportunity to contribute and to help others grow through training and empowerment. Any help or direction would mean a lot. I've been navigating the painful Microsoft vetting and verification process for 6 months in order to enroll in the MAICPP and CSP programs. After being rejected multiple times for Employment verification, I finally received a response to my support request for this issue! The support agent said the reason for my rejection was that the domain on the invoice did not match the domain used on the account. However, it does! The domain that the agent said was used on the invoice isn't even a domain I own. How would I have verified my email to begin with?? I re-uploaded this document, and to nobody's surprise, the verification was denied again. This really isn't good enough. Has anyone else had this issue? Talking to support is like talking to a brick wall. All my details on the invoice are EXACTLY the same as all my info in Partner Center, and the invoice is < 12 months old. See pictures of correspondence below (domains replaced for privacy):
