Copilot pain points....
Guys… seriously… we need some improvements here. I’m not asking Copilot to solve quantum physics or decode alien transmissions. I’m asking a Microsoft program for help with a Microsoft program. You’d think that would be the one scenario where Copilot would shine, right? Like, “Ah yes, my home turf, allow me to demonstrate competence.” But no. I can’t even get Copilot to correctly explain how to do basic SharePoint tasks. BASIC. As in, “click the thing, then click the other thing.” Instead I get a TED Talk about SharePoint philosophy and a guided meditation on patience. And then there’s the folder comparison fiasco. I want Copilot to do something so simple it should practically be a reflex: Compare two folders on my hard drive and tell me if they’re identical. Copilot’s response? “Absolutely, I can do that!” Followed immediately by an ever‑expanding scavenger hunt of things I apparently need to do first. It’s like asking someone to hand you a screwdriver and they say, “Sure, but first you’ll need to assemble this IKEA shelving unit, install three dependencies, sacrifice a goat, and agree to a quest.” I’m glad to hear you’re merging all the copilots into one “super Copilot.” Great idea. Fantastic. But let’s be honest — I’m praying the one that survives is the personal Copilot, because Copilot 365… whew. That thing feels like it was built by a committee that communicates exclusively through interpretive dance. And don’t even get me started on the wrapper versions. Those are like Copilot wearing a Halloween costume of itself, but the costume is made of cardboard and disappointment. And by the way — I’m STILL waiting for Copilot to create an app or program that automatically files my Outlook emails into folders. This is not a moon landing. This is not a Mars rover. This is not a Nobel Prize category. This is a simple, everyday, normal-person task. Yet somehow Copilot treats it like I’ve asked it to build the next Windows release from scratch using only a spoon and positive thinking. Come on, guys. We love the vision. We love the potential. But the basics need to work before the magic tricks do.
Is "Popular in Your Org" in the Agent Store Actually Based on Usage?
I've noticed something interesting in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Store and I'm curious if others are seeing the same behavior. In the "Popular in Your Org" section, many of the agents being surfaced are either: Blocked by our administrators Not available for me to install Restricted due to licensing or governance settings This creates a somewhat confusing experience because the label implies these are agents that are actively being used or adopted within my organization. However, if users cannot install or access them, it raises questions about what "Popular in Your Org" actually means. A few questions for the community: Are others seeing unavailable or blocked agents appear in the "Popular in Your Org" section? Does anyone know what signals Microsoft uses to populate this list? Is it based on actual agent usage, admin deployments, views, recommendations, or something else? Is there a configuration option for admins to make this section reflect only agents that users can actually access? Has anyone found a way to better align this experience with organizational governance and available inventory? My expectation would be that "Popular in Your Org" would surface agents that are: Available to me (or my audience) to install/use Actively being used within the organization Relevant to my permissions and licensing Otherwise, it feels a bit misleading to highlight agents that users discover but ultimately cannot access. Would love to hear whether others have had the same experience and whether Microsoft has shared any guidance on how this section is populated. I'm now looking for a more advanced certification, learning path, or hands-on resource, especially around: Microsoft 365 Copilot with Cowork Copilot Studio AI Agents / Agentic AI Multi-agent scenarios Enterprise governance and implementation So far, AB-730 has been one of the most practical Microsoft trainings I've taken. co-pilot and other AI platforms are horrible
I spent more than three hours trying to solve a problem sharing calendars. Co-pilot spun me around in circles. I understand that Microsoft fired many programmers and depend more on co-pilot. This is a huge mistake. after all of the hours, I gave up and now I will have to pay a human to solve my computer problem. I sincerely hope that someone in Microsoft, who has a connection to decision making, will read this a take it seriously. I have used Microsoft hardware and software for more than 40 years, all the way back to Anytime, Anywhere Learning as a trainer and presenter. Could a human who is not interested in corporate profit pay attention to this huge problem.
