Microsoft Announces New AI-Powered Features for Teams
Microsoft announced today a new set of AI-powered features for Teams, its cloud-based collaboration platform. The new features are designed to make Teams more efficient and productive, and to help users stay connected and engaged. One of the new features is called AI-powered transcription. This feature automatically transcribes meetings and calls in real time, making it easier for users to follow along and take notes. Another new feature is called AI-powered insights. This feature provides users with insights into their meeting and call data, such as who spoke the most, what topics were discussed, and how much time was spent on each topic. Microsoft also announced a new integration with https://arenatani.com/microsoft-rilis-windows-12-beta-untuk-pengguna-umum/ Viva, its employee experience platform. This integration will bring AI-powered features to Viva, such as Viva Insights, which helps employees understand their work habits and productivity. "We are committed to making Teams the most powerful and productive collaboration platform available," said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. "These new AI-powered features are a significant step forward in that journey." The new AI-powered features for Teams are available now.
Photo editing update
I teach Graphic Design and photography and have encouraged beginning students to use the Windows 10 photo editing tools as a really good way of improving photos without having to dive into Photoshop. This morning I woke up to the update- which is a) unexpected and b)really poor. Some comments around the blogosphere call it dumbed down. Why replace something that was well designed and intuitive, with something that is poorly designed and irritating to people who have learned how to use the original version very well? Is there anyway to roll back the update?HoloLens for Just-In-Time Learning
I recently gave a presentation at the Training Conference 2017 in San Diego on the use of various devices that could be used for learning and development. I showcased the HoloLens and Daqri helmets to illustrate the delivery of training to manufacturing employees. Our thinking is that shop floor employees must wear safety glasses, why not make them more dynamic and useful beyond just eye protection. As I prepare my next presentation on the topic I am curious to hear what other people are doing or considering doing. Would love to dialog and share thoughts.
Managing User Access to Apps
I am sure that this has been covered already by I need to know how I can limit my younger users to a small selection of the Apps whilst they gain confidence in using O365. Items such as Team, Project, Planner are too much for the younger user. I would rather hide and reaveal as the item became relevant.Accessibility using Microsoft Tools

Secure Browser for test taking
I have a series of teachers now wanting to use a method to secure the students computers for when they are taking tests so that the desktop and browser are locked down no allowing additional tabs or screen shots to be possible. The intent is to minimize the students ability to cheat. I haven't been able to find a native way to do this only a few options that the district would have to subscribe to gain access to. Anyone know of a solution that would help resolve this type of issue within the Windows 10 platform? Thanks Richard
