Hello, I am wondering why mouse ctrl + mousewheel zoom doens't zoom in and out on the Timeline. Right now it is Standard Microsoft functionality where it scale the whole application in percentages. Second to this features, I would like to suggest a memory function to last know zoom. When switching back and forth from other views to Timeline, it reset the view so you have to navigate to the zoom slider and set your view.25Views0likes0CommentsColor of tasks in Timeline based on color of task in Gantt Chart?
Hi all, I am new here and I hope you can help me! I want to know if it is possible that if a task is shown in the timeline view, the color of this task has automatically the same color like it has in the Gantt Chart. If it does not work automatically, can it be done using a macro and can someone help me with the code? I'm using the Gantt with Timeline view in Project and first, I don't know why when I change the timeline date range, it also changes the gantt chart view, which I don't want it to do. I set the timeline date range to be the start and finish date option, this then affected my Gantt view by displaying days as the units for the bottom tier instead of weeks that I had set previously. Then when I go and try to change the bottom tier timescale units from days back to weeks, I get this error, which doesn't make sense to me why its saying "the upper tier has less time per tick", when the upper tier is set to Months. Help please.2.5KViews0likes5CommentsAnyone sees web history in Windows timeline?
I'm only talking about Edge stable users with history syncing on. so people that have history syncing on Edge stable (probably only UK users for now as it's a controlled feature rollout), do you see web history, just like Edge legacy, in Windows timeline? web history don't appear in timeline from insider channels, I'm assuming maybe it only works on stable channel.2.3KViews0likes9CommentsTimeline downloads a copy of Office files from OneDrive instead of OPENING the files
When opening an Office file stored in my OneDrive for Business by clicking on it in Timeline, the file does not open in the corresponding web or desktop Office Application. Instead, my browser downloads a read-only copy of the file (and presents its usual file download dialog: "Do you want save or open this file.") (It doesn't matter which browser is used.) To reiterate, the problem is that Timeline downloads a copy of the file instead of opening it. It didn't always do this, but I can't say when the problem started. I'm on Windows 10 insider fast ring build 19035 and i'm seeing that all of my web history from Google chrome canary Version 80.0.3987.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) are in there! there are also 2-3 web history, all of them from offline PDFs opened inside Edge, in there too from Edge insider canary. i don't know what's happening, I don't have any extension in Google chrome nor Edge insider to add my history to the Windows 10 Timeline/TaskView but they are automatically appearing in there, so I wanna ask if you guys (developers) have made this happen by contributing to the Chromium project? it's really a good thing but i don't know why Google chrome got this feature first before Edge insider795Views0likes0Comments
