Why do you keep disabling the ability to have a truly gray theme?
After the latest update, menus are dark aqua, and the settings page is bluish. You've done this before, and I don't know why. The "gray" preset under appearance isn't actually gray, it's greenish, which is why I use a custom theme to begin with. What's the deal? Do you really think nobody wants a neutral interface?Access bug fixes — Versions 2511 through 2601
Version 2511 (Build 19426) Bug Name Issue Fixed Query Design view showed incorrect joins after selecting SQL text When using the Monaco SQL editor with a query containing multiple joins, selecting text in SQL view with Ctrl+A and then switching back to Design View could trigger a spurious alert and cause one of the joins to appear removed in the design grid. The underlying SQL wasn't actually affected, but the Design view displayed incorrect join information. This is corrected so that switching between SQL view and Design view preserves all joins accurately. Version 2512 (Build 19530) Bug Name Issue Fixed Datasheet forms with nested subforms showing errors after system changes When using datasheet forms containing nested subforms on systems where a system change occurs — such as disconnecting and reconnecting a Remote Desktop session — Access could display a GDI error. This happened because collapsed sublists held references to system brushes that were destroyed during the system change. This is fixed so that all sublists properly handle system resource changes. F4 key did not open the Properties pane in the Query SQL editor When the Monaco SQL editor was enabled, pressing F4 in the Query editor's SQL view didn't properly open the Properties pane. Instead, the pane would either flash briefly or appear incorrectly positioned in the top-left corner of the screen. The F4 shortcut now correctly opens the Properties pane in SQL view. Pressing F5 in the Query SQL editor cleared all SQL text When using the Monaco SQL editor in the Query designer, pressing F5 (Run) could clear all the SQL text from the editor. This is fixed so that running a query with F5 no longer affects the SQL text in the editor. Text not visible when renaming items in the Navigation Pane in dark themes When using the Black (or other dark) Office theme, renaming an object in the Navigation pane resulted in text that was nearly invisible due to insufficient contrast. The rename text box now uses appropriate colors that provide sufficient contrast in all themes. Advanced Filter/Sort opened a standalone query window instead of a filter window When opening a table in Datasheet view and selecting Sort & Filter > Advanced > Advanced Filter/Sort from the ribbon, Access incorrectly opened a full standalone query design window instead of the expected limited filter query window. The filter query window includes a Toggle Filter button to apply the query as a filter. This is corrected, so the command opens the proper filter window. Refreshing an Access ODBC connection in Excel returned an error When refreshing an ODBC connection to an Access database from Excel, users could receive the error "Operation is not supported for this type of object." This is resolved so that Access ODBC connections refresh successfully. Please continue to let us know if this is helpful and share any feedback you have.Windows Themes no longer working...
Hello folks, I hope someone here can help me out: My Windows Themes suddenly stopped working. I can select all other categories under "Personalize", but clicking on "Themes" results in the application crashing (i.e., the window closing) and a SystemSettings.exe dump file being created. Upon booting into Safe Mode, I got a direct error message that I screenshot: How can I easily fix this without resorting to unwanted measures such as a system restore or having to create a brandnew user profile? Thanks in advance. <3SharePoint 2019 on-premises custom theme using a PowerShell script
I am on SharePoint 2019 on-premises with May 2023 CU. I see Gear, Change the Look. Current theme. I want to set COMPANYTHEMEHERE as the theme. I have done so in SharePoint Online however I have to use PNP and I do NOT have that on-premises. I go to help on the SharePoint 2019 on-premises site and it takes me to - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/declarative-customization/site-theming/sharepoint-site-theming-overview. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/declarative-customization/site-theming/sharepoint-site-theming-overview I have gone to the Theme Generator Tool - https://aka.ms/themedesignerand I have a basic theme. I am only changing the color of our site from SharePoint teal to our company branded color. I go to the SharePoint site theming: PowerShell cmdlets: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/declarative-customization/site-theming/sharepoint-site-theming-powershell THIS is taking me to information about SharePoint ONLINE and NOT on-premises, which in SharePoint 2019 I am on-premises! What am I missing as I would like for a way to update the color of the theme on-premises.THEMES - Now available in Edge Addons store

I had the "Halo" theme previously installed from Edge Add-Ons and wanted to mess around with some more. I installed a [hideous] "High Contrast" theme from the Chrome Web Store, and the "Halo" theme disappeared from the appearance menu. Installing "Just Black" from Chrome then removed that "High Contrast" theme too. Is it really only possible to have one externally installed theme, whether from the Edge Add-Ons page or the Chrome Web Store? Granted, I have not used Chrome itself in ages, so I don't know if that's just a Chromium limitation, or if Edge itself only supports a single custom/paintbrush icon theme. I only switched back to Edge "Stable" because Edge Dev 93.0.910.5 is completely broken for me on YouTube and several other sites. Anyways, as far as I can remember [and as a comparison], Firefox will actually allow me to "install" multiple themes and not just apply them on the fly. I still have all of my older pre-Proton themes still showing up in my install of Firefox Nightly, albeit with limited functionality due to said Proton re-design. TL;DR Installing a new extension doesn't automatically uninstall the rest of them, themes should behave the same way lol.
Add the ability to inherit themes from a Parent Channel for a Private Channel
In Teams, I would like to see the ability to change, alter or inherit themes in a Private channel SharePoint site just like in a Parent channel SharePoint site. I believe a private channel should have the ability to inherit the theme and colors from the Parent, just like the association allows a Team to inherit the theme from a Hub association. Thoughts? Any agreement?Themes coming soon to Microsoft Edge Add-ons store!
The latest Edge Canary Version 89.0.707.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) hints at it. The Microsoft Edge Add-ons store link points to here: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/microsoft-edge-themes at the moment there is no themes there (except for this one), nor any "themes" category in the site's user interface, but the website's URL is there so we should be expecting the rest soonSharePoint themes - There was an error while attempting to get the themes
Hi all, I've an issue when I want to apply another theme. When I choose --> gear icon --> change look, I see this: This error appears when I add a new theme or overwrite an excising one. It's the second time I see this error on two different tenants. Someone familiar with this issue?
