I have a booking page for a "service" and assigned it to a staff added (myself) as a user/guess. * In the service, i have the "add online meeting" enabled but the invites being sent out do not include the link for TEAMs meeting? What am I missing here? I have attached a screen shot also I had to create a user/guest so i can customize the email address. As an admin, my email has the mailto:...@...onmicrosoft.com so cannot really use and do not receive an confirmations on it (does anybody know why i cannot update the email for the admin?) Under staff, i show up as "Guest" and the Status is "Bookable"11KViews0likes1CommentAre you able to forward a Bookings Teams meeting to other people you want to attend that meeting?
I need the details (customer name, etc.) to show up in Outlook calendar item sent to employees so need to have a single booking. I also need the ability for customer to forward the invite to other people that they need to attend the Teams meeting. If I set maximum number of attendees to "one", will the customer be allowed to forward Outlook item for Teams meeting and will additional people be able to attend?6KViews0likes2CommentsChoose an organiser for meetings booked in bookings
I am using Bookings to create events for multiple people that a member of staff then hosts as online meeting in Teams. However, as the staff member is not the meeting Organiser (this is the bookings app I assume as it shows the organiser as the company) The person running the meeting cannot access the necessary features as they are not the organiser! any ideas how if there is a way to change this default behaviour in books?4.4KViews1like5CommentsSetting up 30-min meetings at quarter-past and quarter-to the hour
Hello All, I’m trying to set up 30 minute meetings that begin at quarter past and quarter to (e.g. 3:15, 3:45, 4:15 4:45…). In this case, I do not want the option of starting on the hour, or half hour. For some reason, Bookings with me doesn’t seem to allow this. Does anyone know how to do this? All the best, Alasdair3.5KViews0likes3CommentsBookings tab in Teams?
I am in the process of getting staff to move to the "new" bookings experience. Now that bookable "staff" can be Team members, so see their own bookings and delete them etc. My question is what triggers the booking tab to appear in teams? It is much easier to deal with bookings in teams. I have just added a team member as a test, and got them to reboot teams, but still no tab.. Is it a time thing? Does them logging into the Bookings app trigger the tab to appear in teams?? Be great to know! 🙂Solved2.6KViews0likes5CommentsFeature Request Bookings
Can Microsoft please integrate the feature in Bookings that you can add 2 (or more) employees to an appointment and Bookings will then also show times when all employees have time in their Outlook calendar? This would be useful for scenarios like job interviews or pitches where multiple internal staff members need to attend. It would also save time in finding common appointments. In other words, Bookings should not only support 1:1 and 1:n, but also make m:1 and m:n possible. The Workaround to create Groups or Mailing Lists and use them for Bookings is not useful at all (because no calendar is taken into account). Is such a feature planned? Is there already a release date for it? With kind regards Patrick Hirzel2.6KViews4likes4CommentsMicrosoft Teams Live Events creation through Microsoft Booking
Guys Does anyone know if MS will provide the ability to book Teams Live Events through Booking? We don't have booking enabled on our tenant as yet but are looking to do so in the next few weeks. We are currently using MS Forms and Power Automate to take the Live Event Requests and a small number of admins are creating the Live Events. Due to the 15 limitation on concurrent meetings I was hoping that we could use the staff/resource allocation to the 15 slots and use the Booking tool to automate the Live Event logging by our end users. Due to the LE limitation we don't want to allow users to have direct access from their Teams client to create the Live Events.2.5KViews2likes3CommentsAppointment not including Teams meeting link
I've been using Bookings for several years across multiple tenants, but have recently started experiencing a problem where a Teams meeting link is not added to appointments that are booked, even though the service is set to add the online meeting. Last week the service names did not all show the Teams icon, but this week they do. However, the invite still only shows a "Manage booking" link but no Teams meeting. Is anyone else seeing the same or have any ideas?2.1KViews0likes3CommentsMicrosoft Bookings automatically create Teams meeting with a particular meeting template.
Is it possible to assign specific meeting template (ex. always recording meeting) to meetings created through Bookings? For now, we change meeting settings by hand for each of the meeting made through Bookings and the ability to use templates would significantly save us time.1.8KViews0likes4CommentsDiscrepancy in Teams Meeting Links Between Staff and Attendees
As the IT director of a private school serving 200 students, we've been utilizing MS Bookings for the past two years to manage our online Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC). However, this month, without changing any settings in the configuration, we've encountered a significant issue. The Teams meeting link in our staff calendar differs from the link sent out in the confirmation emails received by our customers. Essentially, staff members adding appointments to their Teams calendars are directed to one meeting room, while attendees accessing the link provided in their confirmation emails are directed to a different meeting room. This inconsistency has led to huge confusion and inconvenience for both our staff and the families we serve. Initially, I attributed the problem to a glitch, as parents found themselves waiting indefinitely in the lobby while staff members were unable to see them in the designated meeting room. However, upon closer examination, it became evident that the discrepancy lay in the links themselves. Upon conducting research, it appears that many other business users are encountering the same issue, but I don’t see any reference to an explanation. I can confirm that no changes were made to these meetings on our end; they were not edited or rescheduled, the problem seemed to arise spontaneously and on a large scale. To circumvent the issue, each teacher had to manually send the correct link from their calendars to every family, amounting to approximately 200 families. If you find yourself facing a similar challenge, I invite you to join me in this discussion and share your thoughts/tips. Additionally, I would like to inquire with Microsoft: has this bug been identified and is there a resolution in progress? Users have been consistently reporting this issue since 2022.1.6KViews2likes7Comments
