Hi, We are trying to install our first Teams Rooms system. Though the system (Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 500) is logging onto the SRS, it is not signing in to the Ms Teams. I've checked the system logs but I could not detect any valid information: {"Description":"Network status : Healthy. Exchange status : Connected. Signin status: Healthy. Teams Signin status: Unhealthy.","ResourceState":"Unhealthy","OperationName":"Heartbeat","OperationResult":"Fail","OS":"Windows 10","OSVersion":"10.0.17134.950","Alias":"abc@hiddenmailaddress.onmicrosoft.com","DisplayName":"TeamsRoom","AppVersion":"4.0.105.0","IPv4Address":"hidden","IPv6Address":"","IPv4Address2":"hidden"} The account is active and has been tested on a demo unit before No local admin account because it's being managed by Azure AD. Skype for Business and Exchange backends sign in but for some reason Teams doesn't. E5 license attached to it. I would really appreciate your ideas.97KViews1like19CommentsTeams Rooms compatibility matrix capture card
Hello everyone, I have a Teams Rooms related question. We want the achieve screen sharing over HDMI. The users in the meeting room just plug in a HDMI cabel in their laptop and you can see the screen in the meeting. Is there acompatibility matrix for supported capture cards? Hi all, I'v created a room mailbox and assigned a MTR (Microsoft Teams Room) Licence to the ressource account. When we try to join or call the room from outside (from another tenant) the room is joinable. But we don't want that. We only want the room is joinable from our tenant and only another partner tenant. I've checked the "ProcessExternalMeetingMessages" parameter and it is set to 'False' Get-CalendarProcessing thinksmartroom | fl ProcessExternalMeetingMessages ProcessExternalMeetingMessages : False Does someone has any idea? We are trying to build our own Mic Teams Rooms using a few spare equipment we have. We started withWindows 10 IoT Enterprise, version 2004 as the operating system. We are trying to useCreateSrsMedia.ps1 on this system to create an image on a usb thumb drive. This script asks for a Windows 10 Enterprise installation media. We cannot seem to figure out what version do we need exactly. If we know the version, we may be able to download it from our msdn account. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, version 2004 ISO we have did not do the trick. Has anyone done such an installation before? What versions are we supposed to be using for this? Hi All, We are thinking of trying out the Teams Rooms for a small meeting room and trying to solicit your feedback/experience on this. For this trying out we are budgeting around 2500$ (small room). - What specific Meeting Rooms device you have experienced with, and what kind of device would you recommend, e.g. Logitech, Yealink, Crestron, etc... - what audio/video peripherals you experienced with and what would you recommend - what are the challenges you have encountered to setup/configure the Teams Rooms devices - Appreciate any other tips if you could share Thanks in advance...2KViews0likes5CommentsPeer to peer audio video session with MTR device
Hi all, I added Poly X50 collab bar into Teams with resouse account according to decsription on docs.microsoft. Later I was asked why it is not possible to place a direct audio/video call to a Teams Rooms room account. A user search in his Teams client for the room, the room account is found, and screen "You're starting a new conversation" is displayed. But user complains that audio call and video call buttons are missing. I tried to explain the user that it is like that by design as that is how I understand the logic of Teams Rooms systems. I instructed him to run Meet Now or create scheduled meeting and invite the room account. I am convinced that this is how MTR supposed to be used. Anyway user insisted on having capability to "call" meeting room account like he is used to when calling other users. Is it possible that I did something wrong during the MTR setup which prevents audio and video call buttons from appearing in user to room chat session? Thanks, Michal1.4KViews0likes2CommentsNew Logitech TAP Rooms does not appear in Teams Rooms devices
We're attempting to install the TAP Rooms solution - but the device does not appear in the Teams Rooms devices (though we could initiate a call). What our setup is: On Premise Exchange (2016 CU12), domain synched to AAD. Steps I took: created user in local AD, synched correctly to AAD. Created Room mailbox as per following guide: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/with-exchange-on-premises Currently I enabled a 30 day trial Teams Rooms license and have Teams Exploratory assigned to the Rooms account. One thing I am not certain of is if this is enough at least for a trial setup (Teams Exploratory instead of a Microsoft 365 Basic license for ex.) so please confirm if I need any other license at least for trial purposes. After having setup the account on the Tap (did not join it to AD) it doesn't appear in the Teams Rooms Devices. The account is correctly "disabled" both in local AD and in AAD and is listed as a resource in the on premise ECP. Any pointers or heads up on what could be wrong? Should I try to scrap the user account and recreate it from scratch? Maybe it's due to the fact that we have only on premise mailboxes and only synch AD users to AAD so this Exchange resource account (Room) does not synch correctly to the Teams Admin portal for some reason? I've also noticed that it is not listed as a device under the 365 admin panel. Thanks!12KViews0likes1CommentMTR Video feeds blank
Hi, We are working on a proof of concept for Microsoft teams rooms video conferencing within my business and i have been working on testing different products. I am currently using a Lenovo ThinkSmart hub 500 and i am having a problem where the TV we have the smarthub connected to is working fine until we join/create a call, at which point the screen flashes white then stays black afterwards, with neither of mine or my colleagues video feeds showing, but on the other end of the call the video feeds are working fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried using the MTR recovery tool with no success and i have used this TV with another device so i know it isn't the TV itself?3.1KViews0likes1Comment
