Teams Live Event 'Send Live' Keyboard Shortcut on a Mac is a very bad idea!
I don't know how this has been missed by the development team, but I don't know if you're aware that you have assigned the shortcut for the Send Live button within Live Events to be the same as the default shortcut to close all windows on a Mac. Clearly this is a bad idea as it means a producer will be immediately kicked out of the event if they use this shortcut without realising what they're about to do (literally just watched this happen live on air). It might be a good idea to change that immediately.
Can't connect to Teams live event
Hi, I need your assitance to find out why we still unable to connect to MS Teams live event even ALL URLs related to the product are allowed on the proxy. To explane to you more, we do have professionel account and licence for MS Teams App. but sometimes some users on our organisations needs to connect to Teams Live. we have tried the access by browser and teams App. but both of them are not working. the trafic go through web proxy, in which we have disable the https scan for test, but in vain. after that the user connect to the URL: teams.live/meet... the website ask user to enter a valid username, then it ask user to wait until the admin accept to let him in to the event meeting, but after a while it blocks with a message error "il semble que votre configuration réseau nous empeche d'établir votre appel...." from packet capture it seems like the end user pc try Sometimes to connect directly to teams servers. My question is , is there a solution for that issue whitout allowing direct trafic from user's pc ? BR,Ways to ignore Chat and notification sound during Teams live event
Hello Everyone, I know many of you are already hosting Teams live events but might have heard different types of notifications sounds during the live events. This can very be distracting, unprofessional or disturbing. Please find some important ways to ignore these dings and pings sound during the event: 1. Go to the settings of your Teams Client and choose your status to DND (Do not disturb), by doing that you will not hear any ping sound while receiving any message , though you will be receiving all the messages from others but silently. Checkout the below screenshot as a reference : 2. Second way , If you go the right bottom corner of your system's task bar and hit the notification center and click on the below icon shown in the screenshot and set it to PRIORITY only , you could actually avoid the unexpected sounds from your system during the event : 3. And the last way would be , go to the start menu of your windows and type FOCUS ASSIST , open the setting and choose PRIORITY ONLY I hope this will help you to produce the events more efficiently. Teams Live event was "Live" but some of my users are stuck on a black screen
We experienced joining a live event in teams the desktop application that just showed a black screen. We knew that the event was proceeding because other colleagues were able to view the live event. Some screens were just stuck in black. Anybody else have experienced this?
