tagging

Once you create a tag, unless I am missing something, there is no way to edit or delete it. You can remove a tag from a machine but that is about it. Eventually the list of tags will grow too large for manageability and usability and misspelled and stale tags will linger forever... Has anyone discovered a way to perform that task or is it in on a roadmap for future releases? Thank you in advance.Solved2.8KViews1like3CommentsAzure EA Subscription/Account Tagging in EA portal
Hi All, Is there any API available to apply cost center tagging against the account where we will add EA subscription rather setting manually using Azure EA portal under Account menu (Refer screenshot) ? Dear community, we use one Team for our department of around 50 co-workers, which are organized into 5 sub-teams. Our management doesn't want to install channels for the sub-teams, as they should be content-based. Now is there a way of tagging or assigning tasks to these 5 sub-groups separately without creating a channel for them? Thanks in advance 🙂Solved2.2KViews1like2CommentsOrganization Assets libraries - enable tagging and filtering
Hello SharePoint people! In April, MS announced a new feature in SPO - Organization Assets libraries. It's a fantastic way to provide digital assets to all users across the organisation but as it's pretty new and needs some improvements, and tagging and filtering would definitely be a useful one. If you agree, please could you vote for my https://sharepoint.uservoice.com/forums/329214-sites-and-collaboration/suggestions/38507506-additional-columns-in-organization-assets-librarie so that Microsoft can (hopefully) look into implementing it. Let me know what you think about the idea and if you've used Organization Assets yet (and if so, what are your thoughts about it). I have cross farm environment, SharePoint 2016 Nov PU 2016 level. We have UPA, MMS and Mysites in Publishing Farm. In consuming farm we have content web application. Now issue is Tagging in site collection news feed not working. I get the following message "Something went wrong The tagging service is currently unavailable. Please try again later." - MMS service published and consumed in the content farm _ MMS service associated with the web application - All the permission in place at both places. - i cant find anything in uls logs. One thing i noticed that if i have local MMS in consuming farm then tagging will work. but in this case if i click on the tag it tries pull from my profile and throws the following error "Sorry, something went wrong The query string "TermID" is missing or invalid. Technical Details" So question, does tagging in site collection newsfeed required the local MMS and how can it pin with profile?1.2KViews0likes2Comments
