Hey everyone, truly enjoying the new edge browser. Finally a browser that I think can make me ditch chrome. Now there is something I wanted to be present in this browser, that is when I change the search engine, the new tab search bar does not change. Is there any way to do it or its not available yet? Another thing is, because I no longer use chrome, I was thinking If I can even make myself use bing. Is bing better or at least similar to google? Which one would you recommend? Thanks In Advance and also Merry Christmas in advance.Solved1.8KViews0likes1Comment[Feature Request] Advanced search engine control
There's a chromium fork called Cent Browser, which have a feature that allow users to search for selected text in non-default search engines, by right-clicking and choose "Search other engines for" submenu. I used to use this browser and changed to edge for a year, and every time I have to copy.the text and paste into the address bar to search with a specific SE. It'll make Edge more powerful if there's such a submenu in Edge, and a selector on the search sidebar, and if possible, a SE selector in address bar just like Firefox, as not everybody can memorize all SEs in their browser. It'll be even better if there's a hide option to hide some of the SEs from the submenu and selectors (still can be used by abbr. + Tab key).1KViews1like2CommentsSearch results missing in sharepoint online of the same library
Hi there, I just review all the steps in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/troubleshoot/search/search-results-missing and my problem is not solved. When I search in Everything "CCQ" for a given Wiki Page that has "CCQ" in the Title, the search engine returns me nothing and when I search in Everything "Folha" the engine finds correctly the Wiki Page that is in the same Library that the CCQ article. So I created a custom Search at "Manage result sources", that has a query {searchTerms} Path:https://{{domain}}.sharepoint.com/sites/wiki/Paginas/* And this query return 6 results. Then when I try this other method (search all site, and remove what I didn't wonted) I get 38 results {searchTerms} Path:https://{{domain}}.sharepoint.com/sites/wiki/* -Path:https://{{domain}}.sharepoint.com/sites/wiki/PublishingImages/* -Path:https://{{domain}}.sharepoint.com/sites/wiki/SiteAssets/* -Path:https://{{domain}}.sharepoint.com/sites/wiki/Lists/* But my "Paginas" library has 56 items. How can this be? Someone knows that the devil of IT is doing and how to stop this from happening?905Views0likes0Comments
