Adding a room/resource as a staff member to Bookings
Is it possible to add a room/resource at Bookings as a staff member? We're trying to setup a booking page where people can book a service (e.g. a meeting) in room (i.e. a room setup as a staff member). When creating a new staff member I get the option to add any of the rooms/resources in the "add people" field. This ticks the "events on office 365 affect availability" option. However after I save the staff member and go back into the record, it now shows as a "guest" (where it originally was "viewer") and the "events on office 365 affect availability" option is no longer ticked and greyed out as an option. Is there a way to do this? Or do "staff" have to be real users to sync availability?
Teams device phones missing and offline
I have deployed approximately 60 teams' phones such as Poly CCX400 and Yealink MP54. I noticed only 53 are showing in the portal and 7 are missing but are working on site (one of them is on my desk). Also, after the last firmware was pushed out, half of them now show as "Offline". However, we have physically checked some of the phones, they are online and are completely working even though they are offline on the portal. I also have two phones (Yealink-MP54) that have been updated and one shows the offline error and the other functions normally. I do not know if this is a device issue or a team's issue. All phones are working but the status is just not accurate. LinusCansby I really need an urgent reply. Thank you.Room scheduling and access to chat
When using room scheduling, where the link to the Teams meeting is in that invite, would the recipient also get access to the chat? We know there is an option to only give invited guests access to the chat when setting up a Teams meeting. I need to understand if there is an additional step that our staff would need to do to restrict that chat access. Thanks! Jim
Teams Room System with Exchage 2010 Hybrid
Hello, we have "Teams Room Systems". After setting up i get the error "can not fetch calendar" on system. We are using Exchange Hybrid. On premise we have exchange 2010. The mailbox for the Room system is on Exchange online. Is Exchange 2010 not supported? Regards
