I asked my Global Administrator to add my administrator account to be a Global Reader. I would like to read the audit logs. I have logged out of the webbrowser and it has been over an hour since I was granted this access. I have had my account for over a year. I am going to Microsoft 365 Compliance, Audit, search. Before I was given Global Reader, I could get to this area but the search button was grayed out. Now I can enter a search query. https://compliance.microsoft.com/auditlogsearch?viewid=Test%20Tab I fill in the details and I get an error after I click on the search button. Error Looks like you don't have the right permissions to view this page or this feature isn't part of your organization's Microsoft 365 subscription. To get access, contact the person who assigns permissions or makes purchasing decisions. If you're a new user or were recently assigned permissions, try again in 15 minutes.11KViews0likes1CommentTeams live event participant roles
Good Day, Due to the pandemic we are opting to start giving trainings and webinars using teams live event. Today after a brief moment of testing and creating live event rooms, I came to the conclusion that all of my participants/attendees were moderators. I(as the producer) invited a colleague as the presenter and I specifically choose two other colleagues for this testing purpose. I did not get the opportunity nor the ability to assign any roles to the two other colleagues except the presenter. Where is the option to change participant roles? is this an organization wide policy or is this set per live event. Additionally, from all the participants I am the only one that has the option to create live events. keep this in mind we all have business essentials license and also the teams exploratory license was assigned to us all.5KViews0likes2CommentsChange staff role grayed out
Ad IT admin, I'm trying to change the role of some people in the staff menu but, though I have created them as viewers or administrator, they are set as "Guest" and I can't change it (grayed out). These people have 365 Business Premium license assigned. Thanks Diego4.7KViews0likes2CommentsIntune Permissions
Hi, I am using roles within Intune and would like to grant access to the "enrollment issues"-view for some HelpDesk guys. https://endpoint.microsoft.com/#blade/Microsoft_Intune_DeviceSettings/DevicesMonitorMenu/enrollmentFailures) But I don't get which permission is responsible to enable that view. I can not find anything in the documentation. thanks Sebastian3.5KViews0likes2CommentsVBox: Remote Management / Add Roles & Features: The WS-Management service cannot process the request
Hello, I have installed Windows Server 2019 in a VirtualBox 6.1 machine. In the Server Manager I want to activate remote management and install roles like AD DS, but these error messages appear: Local Server \ Remote Management: "The WS-Management service cannot process the request because the XML is invalid." Add Roles and Features: "The WS-Management service cannot process the request. The service in configured to not accept any remote shell requests." I have created the VirtualBox virtual machine as "Windows 2016" and tried several options like EFI, I/O APIC, PAE/NX, nested VT-x, nested paging, NAT, bridged adapter. In the Local Group Policy Editor (Windows Server virtual machine), I have manually enabled "Allow Remote Shell Access" in Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Shell and run gpupdate /force. I have also installed Windows Server in VirtualBox on two other computers, but the same problem appears. I hope anyone can help me solve this problem. What has to be configured to make the WS-Management service work correctly?3KViews0likes3CommentsRBAC Intune - Can not see devices
Hi @all :-), I have defined a custom role for our admins in different departments (see screenshot). The administrators are in a group, the group is assigned to that role. Scope groups are assigned (users and devices in the department) and scope tags are set. But the department admin can not access the device list (not authorized). What permission is missing? I hope someone can give me a hint. 🙂2.3KViews0likes3CommentsDisplay bug in the Team Management Administration page
Hi, I just noticed this bug when sorting the members of a Team : The Role Column doesn't follow when sorting other columns (and the Role Column sorting doesn't work anyway), which can lead to mistakes when manipulating roles. It also can be dangerous when adding a new member and then set it as an owner, because you can assign the role to the wrong member.Solved2KViews1like4CommentsGuest users change to Member when I add them to a new channel
Hi, I have several guest users in my Teams. For any reason that I don't know, when I try to add this users into a channel, some of them, automatically change their rol to Member instead of guest user. Have somebody any idea about this behaviour? Regards1.4KViews0likes1Comment
