Dear community We are still struggling with the best way to buy/get BttC2 Promo for our Dynamics AX customers. How do you guys get the SKUs when the migration project starts (as soon as customer is involved)? According to the FAQ, the customer can only once buy BttC2 SKUs ("...and is available only to customers that have not previously purchased a cloud version of the product..."). So basically, as from day 1 of the migration project, ALL possible SKUs have to be bought (even though with their bare minimum) because otherwise the customer would lose eligibility? Previously I thought (and I know, other partners are doing it this way) as long as the customer is on active EP, they can get BttC SKUs (so basically one initially for 20 users for the duration of the migration and as soon as they go live with a second order for the rest of the users). Any inputs welcome on how you guys are handling this. cheers DanielSolved4.8KViews0likes15CommentsBridge to Cloud 2 Promo
Hello Everyone , We have a few cases where our CSP team allowed a customer to purchase the Bridge to Cloud 2 promo outside of a customer's EP renewal window as per the promos terms (ex. we allowed a customer to start the B2C2 promo 8 months after their EP renewal date) and we're trying to understand the EP costs ramifications of this come the last year of the promotion for these clients. Has anyone else had a situation where a customer's CSP promo purchase terms end date doesn't align with the EP renewals dates? If so, what's your understanding of how Microsoft will handle the last year's EP renewal when we won't have a screenshot showing a Bridge to cloud purchase with equivalent or greater value to cover the EP costs? We're concerned that we will get billed for the customer's EP for the last year and do not understand if we can let it lapse or not without penalties. Can anyone share their understanding in this case? Thank you in advance for any help or insight.Question regarding BTTC2 Promotion - 2nd BTTC2 subscription possible?
One of our Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise customers has switched to SaaS and used the BTTC2 promo. Now another Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise customer (with a separate on-premise license), who is connected to the first customer as defined by Microsoft, also wants to switch to SaaS and asks whether he can use the BTTC2 Promo on the same tenant. Can anyone answer this question? Technically it is possible to create a second BTTC2 subscription for the tenant. But is it also ok in terms of licence law?Solved689Views0likes3CommentsBusiness Central Tenant Migration During Bridge to Cloud Campaign
Hello, I have a question regarding a customer who is migrating from NAV On-Prem to Business Central Cloud. They are part of a larger corporate group and are likely to undergo a tenant migration. Typically, this wouldn't be an issue, but they are currently in a "Bridge to Cloud" campaign. Is it possible to migrate the tenant while being part of this campaign, or are there any limitations we should be aware of? Thank you in advance for your insights!373Views0likes3CommentsClose the Year Strong with Surface for Business Deals
