Does anyone know the reason why Teams doesn't have any options to set a custom location for its downloads? Every other software I use lets me customize it. This means I don't just have a single catch-all folder for every single download (what a mess), but instead I have folders dedicated to each software. This makes for less clutter, both in the OS and in the Mind. Why doesn't Teams have any options to customize this?1.9KViews0likes3CommentsTeams Changes FaceTime settings
Every time I open Teams on my MacBook Pro (running OS 10.15) it changes the FaceTime settings which does not allow me to accept phone or FaceTime calls on my MacBook. Under FaceTime Preferences, the "Default for calls" is always changed back to Teams even after I have changed it to FaceTime. I have already spoken extensively with Apple about this issue and they believe it is a Microsoft/Teams problem. I have already tried deleting Teams and re-installing the program. It didn't work. This is beyond frustrating because I need to use Teams for work but also need to accept incoming calls11KViews0likes6CommentsFeedback and report on Immersive Reader in Edge Canary Version 83
There are some preferences that are Remembered and there are some preferences that are Reset/Lost after Immersive Reader mode page is refreshed or when user quits and goes into Immersive Reader mode again. Preferences that are remembered: Read Aloud voice Text Preferences => Text Size Text Preferences => Page Theme Text Preferences => Spacing Preferences that are Lost/reset: Reading Preferences => Line focus Reading Preferences => Picture Dictionary Grammar Tools => syl.la.bles Grammar Tools => Part of speech (all of the options) Grammar Tools => Show labels Here is a demo video: https://streamable.com/17rz4 Please set all of the preferences to be remembered and never be lost once user configures them. it'd be perfect if they could also be synced with "settings sync" in Edge.Solved2.3KViews1like7CommentsSearch Preferences
Currently, if you want search results to open in the client application rather than the browser each user must go to the bottom of the search results page, click the Preferences link, and change the setting to use the client application rather than opening in the browser. Is there a global setting I am missing to have all of our users' search results open in the client application rather than the browser? It is very frustrating to have to change this for each user when we would like everyone to have documents that appear in the search results open in their default client application.
