Recently forced into using Teams for meetings on my 2015 Macbook Pro 13" which has 16GB of RAM. Have happily used Zoom and Webex for the past three years. Teams is so poor on performance it's effectively not functional. - causes every other application to stall - has a UI response time of >30 seconds, even for things like "unmute" - regularly crashes the os causing the machine to restart To be clear, these are issues I know existed from when I first signed my company up for Office365, I had just assumed that after two years they would be fixed. This is shocking disregard for a significant segment of the Microsoft Office365 user base. I use Teams in a Chrome tab exclusively Every morning that I come to work, the tab has crashed with the SBOX_FATAL_MEMORY_EXCEEDED message, Chrome is left using 8GB + of memory IMO it's a memory leak in the application code. Hi Teams, I would like to report that the UI performance of the Teams SPA are unacceptable in my opinion for a product of its size and scale. On my very decently equipped work computer (recent i7 quad core + 16GB ram + SSD), simply switching between conversation puts the whole machine to a sluggish state, in the trace below, you can see that switching from one conversation to another takes a whooping >2000ms to complete Not a single frame during that time was above 5 fps All of my coworkers at my org are struggling with Teams' performance issues, audio is cutting out frequently when they open another program... it's just everywhere and people are getting used to it I guess. I see so many levels in the render call stack, angularjs, mixed with jquery mixed with some React? What is the state of UI performance? Will anyone from the Teams product group offer an update on performance of the windows app? It seems like the majority of comments today are around CPU usage, memory usage, latency for chat history, etc, but nobody seems to be willing to offer a meaningful comment around it. For two years, all we've heard is that the group is looking into improving performance. Hi everyone, I'm curious if teams meet will be stable even at its full capacity with 300 hundred people. One thing is the maximum meet limit, but the other is if it will work without a problem. I tried to find performance tests on this issue, but unfortunately, without succeed. Is there any documentation or conducted tests on this issue? Like how will the increasing number of participants change the computer and network demands and meeting's stability? I will be grateful for any suggestion or experience. Hi, I am hoping that someone here can assist, i have a question about Microsoft Teams and performance, which seems to be a gray area, I have a Teams environment that currently has just under 1000 teams. Will there be any performance degredation on a computer that a user could experience if they was a member of all of those teams or even would the overall environment for the company start to slow down. the end user environment is they use the Teams app locally installed on the computers. Is anyone elae having issues with the teams Admin portal?. We are hosted on the eurpopean data centres and the Team portal is unusable, We cant even search users as it comes back saying user list is unavailable. When creating team you more than not get an error saying the Team could not be created or cloned. We are trying to provide scheduled meetings for all our users as our Skyp is on prem and we cannot change the inetorg default as the portal just spins..
