We use Teams to communicate within the company. About 50% of the time when I try to drag and drop or click the paperclip to send a needed photo or screenshot to the team, I get a message, "Unable to connect to OneDrive. Please try uploading again." None of the solutions I see online seems to solve the problem. I have Microsoft Teams Version (the currently latest version) on a Mac. I used Skype for years without any of these problems. I have a paid OneDrive account with plenty of storage46KViews5likes6CommentsTeams Meeting recordings not accessible to invitees
Teams meeting recordings (OneDrive) for scheduled meetings are not being shared to all invited. Instead, the file is only being shared to people who attended the meeting. I've tested this a few times and gone through the lists to verify that the people that did not attend the meeting do not have access. If this is by design, this is a significant oversight by Microsoft. Previously in Stream, the recording was shared to everyone in the invite. Now with the move to OneDrive, this means going through the attendee list and comparing to who was invited, then manually going to the OneDrive recording, modifying the sharing, and adding each of the people that did not attend the meeting. Most meeting recordings in our organization are needed for the people who missed the meeting, and by default they cannot access. What a pain for any meeting larger than a few people! Microsoft's documentation does not match the behavior: "People invited to the meeting, except external users, will automatically be granted permission to the recording file with view access without ability to download." https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/cloud-recording Please tell me there's a powershell setting for this somewhere...52KViews4likes26CommentsOnedrive App in Teams not show files
After we change we did a tenant rename on October 18 2024 in which we change sharepoint url we have an issue with the Onedrive app in teams. It doesn't load any files. The Onedrive client in Windows works without any issues. Opening teams in the webclient gives us the same issue. Resetting the teams client doesn't help. Anyone any ideas? Below the error we see.Solved576Views0likes2CommentsDisable teams (and/or Onedrive) from specific computers within enterprise network
Hello, I work for a company that manages its devices and device users through active directory. What I'd like to achieve is to have a group of computers where whoever logs in can access Office 365, but not Teams, and ideally not Onedrive either. Those people would still be able to access Teams and Onedrive from other devices or from a web browser, and would also be able to use Office Word and Excel from the computers I want to disable the use of Teams on. Is this possible?1.9KViews0likes4CommentsOne drive conflict cant choose the option

Hi, I'm having an issue where some of my clients meetings are being saved to Streams, but others are being saved to OneDrive (which I prefer). I've done some googling but from what I've found, I though Streams was being retired in favour of OneDrive, YET this method is still active in our tenant. Can someone please shed some light? Thanks.1.2KViews0likes1CommentSaving to OneDrive and Downloading Transcripts
In MC222640 it states the roll out of the save to OneDrive and SharePoint feature switch happens on Jan. 11th 2021 unless action is taken otherwise. In MC220987 it states the new Download Transcription feature in the new Meeting center will not roll out until mid-February. My question is if we switch to saving to ODSP now is there a way to download transcripts from those recordings, or that only available through Stream until the new Transcription features roll out? It would seem odd to lose a feature for a month unless I explicitly act to not roll out a new feature.8KViews1like1CommentMy OneDrive files do not appear in the OneDrive tab on MS Teams
I downloaded Teams for personal use a few weeks ago on my personal laptop and used my @hotmail.com email address to log in. Today I attempted to viewe my OneDrive files by going to the Files > Cloud Storage > OneDrive tab in my Teams. My OneDrive files are not displaying. I was able to upload a word document to OneDrive via MS Team, and when looking at my OneDrive in a seperate browser Any tips?1.9KViews1like0CommentsTeams integration with Office365 is lackluster
I started using Teams back in January because i really wanted to move and centralize work comms, it made a lost of sense (still does), especially that i've been using Office365 for many years. My main gripe is: It won't let me use my existing office365 account (Mainly OneDrive storage) from within Microsoft Teams , which is a major let down since most of my work docs are already on OneDrive, yet i still have to reupload , and even buy new storage although i have 1 TB available on my Office365 account. cross sharing data and storage across between Teams and my existing account was one of the main reasons i was hooked on Teams, i am losing interest now since it's feeling like a 3rd party app really now. Is there a solution ? am i doing something wrong or is the product actually built in this way to live outside of your office365 eco system ? Appreciate your replies in advance.
